Tarik Mansuri rounded the corner and beheld the mechanical atrocity that cowered before him. ALEPH chose its name well – an extension of the arm, lesser than a hand but still something that handles.
A lesser person would have paused and considered whether they should harm such a being. A lesser person would have waited for orders, or checked for further instructions. But Tarik Mansuri was greater than that – he was the destructor, one who smashes to bits. So when he beheld the cowering silver-blue creature, he simply raised his gun and smote it.

This was a damn close game and I think it came down entirely to Shamash wisely having Chain of Command. So when Tarik Mansuri did a repeat of his Marut-murder from our previous game instead of costing Shamash valuable time it instead just meant he shifted the weight of his army elsewhere.
Ultimately the game came down to a draw. At the very end I was able to tie it up, but then had no achievable objective cards available to me.
Great job commander!
You have to improve, Shmash is getting better with the Marut!
Nice report!
@Terrordactyl It’s a combination of lots of points so lots of models that are able to actually seize them, and also just a decent amount of luck at being able to grab several a turn. The last few games have been surprisingly high-scoring.
A Marut, followed by a Yudbot & Net-rod? Tariq must have felt a little deflated at the end. Well done on clawing back a draw in the end.
That is a lot of objectives!
You’re picking up a lot of cards in these 400 point games, is it just the extra orders?
Double cat tax!! Squeeeee!
Oh, I should mention – I initially gave Shamash some shade because he didn’t announce his Chain of Command taking effect, but that’s not how it works. Mea culpa.
