Asteroid Blues

Finally called to action!! Nomad forces defending the Gorge need supplies, so I was ordered by Nomad Central Command to infiltrate the Pakngein hangars area and acquire the vital equipment required for the campaign. Under my command an elite group from Corregidor was deployed on hostile terrain, every one of them selected personally by their unique capabilities and team synergies.

Swiftly the mission started and the platoon advanced to target, stealthy getting closer to seize and control the panoplies array. Suddenly local forces were detected in interception route, and my units took positions to repel the Hassassim Bahram and secure the loot.

Turn 1 – Hassassin Bahram:
– East Muttawi’ha on full cover advances and throws smoke.
– West Muttawi’ha advances and my Wildcat with Heavy Rocket Launcher kills him utterly.
– Fearing the hull breaches, the Govads and Asawira fireteam advanced to control the center panoply, opening fire on Gecko#1, who was forced to get into cover after being damaged by Asawira spitfire.
– Enemy Fiday gets its impersonation gear on and advances to safe place on my ground, scanning and scoring a combat point for their Command.

Turn 1 – Corregidor:
– McMurder became crazy and jumped close to enemy fireteam, threwing some smoke on them while being wounded by panzerfaust from East Daylami.
– Gecko fireteam forced East Daylami to hide under fire from Gecko#1 (Mk12). East Daylami fires Panzerfaust and gets unloaded.
– My dear Wildcat lady with Heavy Rocket Launcher kills Leila datatracker, first almost being hit by Shariff and later bringing vengeance and killing the Special Operative with a fire rain.
– McMurder got frenzy and killed both Asawiras 1 by 1 under the smoke with his savage sword, then went to open field firing both Chain rifles to the other 3 Govads. Enemy fire finally got him unconscious, but first one of the enemy Govads disconnected the Holovisor while dying: Husam Yasbir lied inert on the floor; the other two Govads were protected by their armor and their God.
– Hellcat operative followed my orders to get into combat using the hull breaches, allowing him to appear at enemy rearguard. The locals were weakly surrounded by a less numerous army, as I planned. During his insertion famous PanO fusilier Angus was knocked down (again). Commendation for a drink to this operative.
– Geckos fireteam moved on to clear the area around central panoply, killing one of the remaining Govads. The other one survived after a lucky shot that damaged Gecko#2 (Combi), who went back to cover.

Turn 2 – Hassassin Bahram:
– Terribly decimated, Avicenna moved on the unconcious fireteam members, trying to recover them unsuccessfully.
– More smoke from East Muttawi’ha.

Turn 2 – Corregidor:
– Geckos fireteam advanced to the panoplies, pilots first taking the Central one and later the East side one. Last Govad was taken down by Gecko#2.
– The Wildcats fireteam moved to the West side panoply, getting it and closer to Geckos fireteam.
– Meanwhile Valeria Gromoz seized time painting her nails.

Turn 3 – Hassassin Bahram
– Avicenna heals two Govads and hides.
– Both bleeding Govads got suppression fire positions.

Turn 3 Corregidor:
– Both Geckos were repaired on field by Wildcat Engineer, scoring a point for our Command by testing new hard conditions technologies.
– Some weird Fat Yuan Yuan appeared on East side firing his Boarding Shotgun but sadly diying to Avicenna’s Combi.
– Wildcat fireteam kills almost every enemy unit remaining, only surviving Avicenna and Farzan.

After a swift engage, surprising hit and run went smoothly under fire conditions. Avoiding strikes from enemy initiative and seizing the mission objective fast and with overwhelming determination, enemy was short of options to stop our blitzkrieg and unable to call reinforcements on time. Enemy was driven to think as an Shasvastii assault, so the secrecy of the operation should prevail.
