Asteroid Blues

The wise, in his infinite wisdom, told us:

– You must destroy the alien threat, you must eradicate the Shasvastti ghosts from the edge of humanity. Your mission is to control the activity of these creatures and locate and destroy the traitor known as Aïda Swanson.
– So be it!! – we shout in unison.

The Hassassins set off without delay to that asteroid lost on the edge of humanity, ready to keep the word of Ala.

But, we were not prepared for what we found when arriving at the international spaceport, you could see the insidious alien manipulation in those acts. Our nomad racemates were attacking our facilities in Pakngein NBIS.
The established objectives were priority, but without supplies or connection with the outside we could not carry out our mission, so we had to fight.

Turn 1
Hassassin Bahram:
– We started badly, the hidden deployment of our daylamis went to waste, one of them falling into the process to be fully exposed. Brother Daylami Abdul, managed to position himself before the Nomad machines could intercept him, hiding and waiting for his moment.
– Meanwhile, the Muttawiah threw themselves against the enemy, covering their advance with smoke and trying to approach to paralyze them.
– Our operative Farzan took positions near the supplies, but was on the firing line of the damn Nomad rocket launcher, so he had to wait.
– Finally, our lance of Ala, our main group was able to move forward getting the enemy TAGs back in the process.
– Our Fiday operative, also failed its infiltration attempt behind enemy lines, being forced to discover itself. Having to hide and move from far back from our position which made us waste an essential time.

Nomads:
– The first Nomad attack was devastating. The thousand times damn MacMurrough shattered our best warriors, we were not prepared for their dirty tricks of smoke and berzeker attack. Ala’s sword, our bulk of troops, fell barely able to resist. At least, the damn dog, was shot down.
– Our brother Abdul, tried to destroy one of the TAGs in a desperate support movement, but Ala did not accompany his missiles. He had to wait while trying to recharge with supplies before moving forward.
– Our operative hacker, Leila Shariff, was erased by the terrible Nomad fire.
– The rifleman Angus, did not help at all, being struck down by the traitorous Hellcat that appeared in our rear.

Turn 2
Hassasins Bahram:
– Brother Fiday, managed to reach the enemy zone and score with a secondary objective. But he couldn’t do more.
– Our dear brother Abdul, finally fell before the Gecko, while firing his light shotgun and watching the bullets bounce off the machine armor.
– Avicenna, the magnificent, managed to move through the enemy fire to try to cure and raise the great warriors. While the remaining Muttawiah covered him with smoke.

Nomads
– The Nomads, continued advancing in order to fulfill their mission of stealing supplies. From the Geckos, the pilots in Nomada armor came out like little monsters to take over two of the panoplies.
– Meanwhile, the bulk of their forces, the Wildcats came out of their hiding place to steal a second panoply.

Turn 3
Hassasins Bahram:
– Avicenna managed to cure two of the fallen Govads but they could only stay waiting for the Nomads to advance and die defending their position. In the process, she had to defend himself and kill an obese drunk pirate who tried to assault her.
– Brother Fiday in a desperate attempt threw himself against the core of wildcats, falling in the attempt.
– The Farzan, could not defend any supply by also being stuck with nomadic TAGs.

Nomadic
– The Nomads, robbed, killed and fled, like the old barbarians of the old Earth.

Finally, we had to wait and see how the Nomads took our supplies, unable to move forward or backward or attack and avenge our brothers.

Ala is unfathomable in his ways, our weapons did not accompany us and our strategies failed. But some of us are still alive to learn and return the blow, even so.
