Asteroid Blues

This was my third game for Asteroid Blues. It was played on Wednesday (25. September 2019) but due to a lack of time and motivation only reported now.

It was the first "normal" game I did (300 points, 1 vs 1). The mission played was Supplies from the Asteroid Blues pdf.

Because of the short time I have to write this report and the unstable nature of the warconsole, I will not be able to make this batrep comfortable to read (text, pictures, text again, etc.). Instead I will try to upload all the text in one block and then as many pictures as the warconsole lets me.

Following are my notes. In combination with the pictures they should give you a acceptable overview of the game.
When I am writing left or right, it is always from the point of view of my deployment zone and KO means unconscious.

Turn 1 (Nomads):
- Mobile Brigada (HMG) advances and shots Azrail (Feuerbach): Mobile Brigada -1W
- Jaguar (Chainrifle) on left flank advances and throws smoke in front of the Intruder (Multi Sniper Rifle): succeeds
- Intruder (Multi Sniper Rifle) vs Azrail (Feuerbach): Azrail dead
- Intruder (Multi Sniper Rifle) vs Holoecho on ground floor [it is actually the real Husam Yasbir, my opponent accidentally placed him there]: no damage
- Prowler (Specialist Operative) advances and fights Husam Yasbir: Flamethrower vs Nanopulser: no damage
- Prowler (Specialist Operative) moves back and fights Husam Yasbir: Flamethrower vs Nanopulser: Prowler KO, Yasbir dead
- coordinated order: Mobile Brigada (HMG) and Jaguar (Chainrifle) on the left flank reposition themselves
--> Tuareg (Sniper) uncloaks herself and shots the Jaguar; both shot her but miss by one: no damage

Turn 1 (Haqqislam):
- Tuareg (Sniper) shots Intruder (Multi Sniper Rifle) and gets shot by Jaguar (Panzerfaust) on right flank: Intruder dead, Jaguar out of reach (-12 modifier)
- Ghulam (Forward Observer) advances tries to obtain the Supply Box from the left Panoply serveral times and retreats back after he gets it
- Tuareg (Sniper) vs Jaguar (Panzerfaust): no damage
- Azrail (HMG) vs Jaguar (Panzerfaust): Jaguar KO

Turn 2 (Nomads):
- Mobile Brigada (HMG) advances and shots Tuareg (Sniper): Tuareg KO (crit)
- Reverend Healer (Multi Rifle) advances to right Panoply, her Zonbot moves to the Prowler (Specialist Operative): Supply Box acquired, Prowler OK!
- Spektr (Forward Observer) uncloaks near the central Panoply and advances to it: Supply Box acquired
- Reverend Healer moves back and hides, her Zonbot does the same
- coordinated order: Mobile Brigada (HMG), Spektr (Forward Observer), Prowler (Specialist Operative) and the Jaguar (Chainrifle) on left flank all move twice: the Spektr hides, while the rest present ARO threats

Turn 2 (Haqqislam):
- coordinated order: Zhayedan (Breaker Rifle), Sekban (Rifle), Ghulam (Forward Observer) on right flank and the Khawarijs (Doctor Plus) all advance
- Ghulam (Forward Observer) forward observes the unconscious Jaguar (Panzerfaust): succeeds [classified objective achieved]
- Sekban (Rifle) moves in cover
- Zhayedan (Breaker Rifle) advances and shots Prowler (Specialist Operative) and Alguacil (Forward Observer): no damage
- Zhayedan (Breaker Rifle) advances and shots Prowler (Specialist Operative) and Alguacil (Forward Observer): Zhayedan gets Imm-2 and Stunned ...
- Azrail (HMG) advances and goes in Suppressive Fire

Turn 3 (Nomads):
- Jaguar (Chainrifle) on left flank advances, throws smoke and then advances further to attack the Ghulam (Forward Observer) with the Supply Box in CC: Ghulam KO
- Jaguar (Chainrifle) grabs the Supply Box and runs back
- Mobile Brigada (HMG) shots Zhayedan (Breaker Rifle) who is Imm-2: Zhayedan dead
- Jaguar (Chainrifle) with the Supply Box moves back further and goes prone
- Tomcat (Combi Rifle) enters the battlefield on the left flank and moves onto the first floor of the next building [He was transferred to group 1 at the start of the round.]
- coordinated order: Mobile Brigada (HMG), Tomcat (Combi Rifle), Prowler (Specialist Operative) and Alguacil (Forward Observer): Suppressive Fire
- Reverend Custodier (Comi Rifle) uses her Lt. order and shots a Pitcher near the edge of the building in front of the Prowler (Specialist Operative): fails

Turn 3 (Haqqislam):
- Azrail (HMG) advances and shots Tomcat (Combi Rifle): Tomcat KO
- Sekban uses Lt. order to advance
- Ghulam (Forward Observer) moves from the center to the left flank, shots the Jaguar (Chainrifle) with the Supply Box and gets shot by the Prowler (Specialist Operative): Jaguar dodges, Ghulam dead
- Khawarijs (Doctor Plus) advances and shots Reverend Healer (Multi Rifle) in the back with his Boarding Shotgun, the Alguacil (Forward Observer) uses "Alert", the Spektr (Forward Observer) with the Supply Box dodges, the Mobile Brigada shots the Khawarijs (Doctor Plus)
--> Reverend Healer (Multi Rifle) and Spektr both dodge successfully, the Khawarijs (Doctor Plus) dies

It might not look like that, but the last few actions of my opponent made the game quite close. He had a good chance to kill the Jaguar with the Supply Box on my left flank and a rather slim to kill the Reverend Healer AND the Spektr in my center with the Boarding Shotgun of his Khawarijs. If he had succeeded with both, he would have robbed me of all Supply Boxes. Since he was the only one who managed to fullfill one of his classified objectives, it would have been a 1:0 point victory for him.
