Asteroid Blues

The team moved into position as fast as was possible before the Ariadna soldiers got in range. A full Marauder fireteam moved up to intercept our advance under the covering fire of a Blackjack sniper, or at least that's how they must have thought it would happen until our Kiiutan opened fire with an E/Mitter on it, shutting it down and effectively leaving that flank completely open for us.

Adaalok overcharged his symbiont armor growing to the usually impressive size and lead the human hacker we brought along for tapping into the antennas. Under cover from smoke laid down by the Krigel agent and his Reex escorts, they managed to get secure the channel.
While configuring the data transfer, the Brawler hacker also managed to scan a civilian remote that was apparently on stand by in the vicinity. Some interesting data was recovered, which can be found in the attached files.

But the Kiel-Saan would not stop there. Leaping onto the containers nearby he engaged the human bowman on the rooftop. Once having dealt with that threat, we went on a rampage, dropping on the marauder fire team.

Their ranger tried to put up a fight but the outcome was inevitable. Their team broken, snipers neutralized and antennas secured it all seemed to be going according to plan.

That's when that crazy Van Zant fell un our rear with his two companions. They immediately started taking out some of our elements but fortunately most were the expendable Reex. The only true costly casualty was the Kiiutan that went down to the rapid fire of the molotok wielding ranger.

Quite a shoot out went down between the draals, tagma and the humans but thanks to the careful planning and expertise of the saboteurs what could have been a catastrophic development was successfully contained.

Having taken control of both antennas, the data package, some additional actionable information, extracted with minimum casualties and leaving no witnesses, I am glad to report a successful operation.
