The team moved stealthily into position while Adaal, the Kiiutan we ahead to scout the enemy position posing as a local by-stander. At the moment they started noticing something was amiss their leader, a Securitate started giving orders for the to get into a defensive position.

Their Grenzer pulled out his sniper rifle and moved to engage, that’s when Adaal put some distracting fire to hold him in place just enough for our own Taagma sniper to put him down. The Kiiutan kept firing on their team taking out thei medic and injurying their lieutenant until finally he was take out.

A heavy infantry fireteam composed of two Kriza Boracs and a Hollow Man immediately headed for the panoply and the tower we were holding. Shanlyaa spotted the right away and called for concentrated fire on their advance. A rocket from the kiel saan’s panzerfaust took one right in the chest leaving only a read mist, and under the cover of some smoke our Taagmas took care of the other two without problem.

Having cleared the right flank, I lead my combat triad consisting of a hatail hacker and a kosuil engineer to scan some data from their non combatant element, and secure the second port only to be ambushed by the Securitate we thought was dead from Adaal’s fire. The environment’s hazards and the nomad’s fire brought down our engineer and pin us in the panoply alcove.

Having a three options of action in every operation is always our way, and therefore being pinned down by enemy fire I requested the second sabotage triad, composed of two saboteurs and the kiel saan, to move up the field.

They quickly took out the heckler, hacker and swept around to the AC2. Several explosions went on while the Draals used all their demolition charges on the node only to barely scratch the surface armor. A more subtle approach was required apparently, given the quality of protection ALEPH uses in its hardware.

Fortunately the Nomad team was completely taken out of action, ensuring the secrecy of the operation and the safe extraction of the team from the hellish labyrinth.
