In which we get a draw game because I kind-of forgot how to score objectives.

“Honestly, seriously, for real this time, I want this one to go smoothly.”

Her squad looked at her over their preparations. Each of them were checking their weapons, their equipment; Jamila was poking at one of her Nasmat's optics to get some dirt out.

Bashir spoke up from where he lay on the floor, stretched out with his eyes closed. “The last time you wanted this to go smoothly Achilles showed up and pulverized half of us. It's only a minor miracle you were put back on your feet so quickly. He could've just tossed your Cube in to the nearest vat of industrial runoff.”

Rashida chewed her lower lip before responding. “Yeah, well. Intel says Achilles is somewhere over by the Xaraks Battery, probably fighting a wolf-man. I think we're OK this time, right?”

Her squad looked at each other, then at her. Jamila broke the silence. “We can only pray.”

Another TACOS mission! (https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/alternate-play-system-tacos-mk-ii.578/). I used the same list as in our previous game – a simple little 100-points of Naffatun and Ghulam backed up by a Khawarij with a MK 12. Shamash meanwhile used a more rounded list of multiple Dakini and a pair of Devas, with typical Net Rod assistance.

Shamash went first and was able to lock me down pretty well with some Dakinis in Suppressive Fire. While I was able to dish out some hurt with the Khawarij, and broke both Dakinis with gunfire and firefire from a flamethrower, the game ended in a draw. I made a blunder and didn't think I could accomplish any more objectives, and we called it a draw – then I realized I could have done so, but we figured a draw benefited both of us so we called it at that.

Locked down by the Dakini.
And another one - same thing, a good perch and in suppressive fire.
My going prone and crawling on their bellies the fireteam was able to duck out of the Dakini's view, allowing the Naffatun to hose it down.
The MK 12-lugging Khawarij broke the other one. The Khawarij is still base-coated in black so he's a bit hard to see at the bottom.
The Deva, meanwhile, seized Control of one objective...
... then scrambled over to the other. This tied the game up.
My only objecive.
Cat tax!
And Shamash's only objective.
