According to the mission specifics of Operation ˂REDACTED˃, a detachment of XXth Reserve Regiment were dispatched to conduct ˂REDACTED˃ and gain an information about criminal activities the area. Expecting heavy resistance from mercenary and/or alien elements, a heavily armed elements were chosen, consisting of experienced Acontimento Regular Fireteam, enforced by sgt. Tanika ˂REDACTED˃ and cpl. Francis ˂REDACTED˃ from Bagh Mari unit, Tikbalang T.A.G. piloted by lt. Christina ˂REDACTED˃, two members of “ORC” Heavy Tactical Group, sgt. Suzana ˂REDACTED˃ and cpl. Ranjan ˂REDACTED˃, supported by specialist of the Machinist corps sgt. Tejano ˂REDACTED˃. We also possessed a support element from Akali Commandos from low orbit, cpl. Ranjit ˂REDACTED˃.

Our task was primary scouting the area; our secondary objective was to capture possible HVT, if any possibility arise.

During the mission we entered the Jiyuan Pit, unfortunately during the time of asteroid night. It became necessary to gain control over the heating units present in the area to allow our lightly armed forces a chance to survive in extreme cold environment until the asteroid rotates back into the sunlight. Before we could gain control over the units, we were ambushed by Yuan Yuan mercenary scum, supported by surprisingly well organized ground force. We’re not sure if the enemies belonged to some of mercenary group from Novyy Bangkok, or it was a rogue unit from Qapu Khalgi. There were rumors circulation in Liberty Cargo Haqqislamite HQ being compromised by Shasvastii through Shasworth Financial Group; therefore, we decided to take the threat seriously.

Although we managed to repel the initial attack, even using our Palbot drone to engage the opponents, they’d dispatched cpl. Ranjan ˂REDACTED˃ and forced the fireteam leave their initial position. Meanwhile, the bulk of enemy forces continued to attack. We also detected enemy infiltrators trying to get a close position to hack our T.A.G. support.

We took the only possible response and attacked with overwhelming force. According to ˂REDACTED˃, we were authorized to use deadly force in such situation. Our Akali support was already on the way to us, so we send him the coordinates. Sgt. Ranjit ˂REDACTED˃ landed nearby and proceeded to eliminate the threat. Then our heavily armed TAG and sgt. Suzana ˂REDACTED˃ swept enemy resistance in recordly short time. During half a minute, eleven of counted eighteen hostiles lied dead or incapacitated.

Opposition tried to regroup, but they’re dispatched of all heavy weapons and some of them started to panic. I remember one of their troops trying to cover their approach by smoke grenades from his grenade lauchner, but he almost obliterated his own forces by shooting two fragmentation grenades instead. We proceeded in the mission, and took control over the heating controllers. Akali sgt. Ranjit ˂REDACTED˃ also took personal initiative and captured opposition HVT before retreating into our zone.

Then the last vestiges of sunlight were gone and suddenly we entered the dark phase. We used this opportunity to exfiltrate back to Liberty Cargo, bringing the captured HVT with us for further investigation.
