Prequel:

„Attention. My analyses indicates node is nearby on 91% percent. According to intensity of transmission, highly technical device is ahead,” reported Naga Operative Bahadur.

“Fine. Get ready. The plan would be simple, lt. Delgado’s T.A.G. will storm the site, while the rest would establish perimeter defense. Chris, you’ll get the data package and return back, while we’ll guard the rest. Then, we’ll pack out and get away…”

(OOC: Capture and Protect was played. My classified objective was Nanoespionage).

“Intruder alert,” interrupted the Naga. “I’ve hostiles approaching on 11 hours.”

“Who the hell are they, Nomad freaks?”

“That aren’t Nomads,” said cpl. Duarte looking at his scanner. “I see signs of something that looks like obsolete Ramhorn T.A.G…. comms in the air indicates presence of Yuan Yuan savages… and these points is probably Ghulam infantry from Bourak! Captain, I think we’ve run into Qapu Khalgi operation!”

“It seems these rumors about Nomad-Haqqislamite-Tohaa alliance are true,” cursed commander Singh. “Prepare for the worst, we’re almost there. They’ll not break us now!”

Battle Report:

We’ve barely prepared the defenses, when we was targeted by Yuan Yuan troopers dropping from nowhere. Despite frantic effort from the EVO operator, they’d managed to land where they’d wanted and started rampaging in our back. One of them dispatched cpl. Sinha in her foxhole, while was shot down by our heroic Traumadoc, sgt. Sabina Pollicastro, second run amok around the drones and disabled it before being neutralized by the Machinist. Haqqislamites then proceeded by their own obsolete T.A.G., but Scarface piloting this pile of rubbish was no match for our own T.A.G pilot. After shooting a while, finishing cpl. Sinha and forcing half of our forces into cover, he did retreated. The Haqqislamites made some other movements, but generally they’d didn’t wished to risk too much.

Their forces wasn’t matching our own in terms of sheer firepower, but were dangerous enough. Their Ghulam fireteam consisted of several snipers and missile launcher, and they’d also had Djanbazan armed with scary HMG. We also feared their Al’Hawwa operators, some signs indicated that there might be about 3 of them and they’d posses a dangerous Assault Hacking device, a grave danger for our TAG.

So we took a cautious approach as well, revealing one of the Nagas (luckily the one fith AHD) by sniffers from Fugazi drone. Our attempt to attack from the side failed when the Akali trooper failed to kill Missile Launcher Ghulam at close range and get into a complicated firefight with the Djanbazan, which he doesn't expected. The Tikbalang T.A.G. shot down one of the snipers and then eliminated that rubbish T.A.G., but then pushed back instead of risking being hacked or shot by Ghulam missile.

Enemy Ghulam doc healed his sniper colleague, who started to shoot towards the T.A.G. Despite lacking the true effective anti-T.A.G. ammunition, she’d managed to damage the Tikbalang enough and forced lt. Delgado to look for complete cover. Djanmazan also tried to get into combat, but he was luckily shot soon enough. He tried to regenerate himself, but didn’t managed that. At the end, one of Al¨Hawwa operatives approached close and shot our Machinist.

Our Traumadoc used her Palbot to run towards the Machinist and healed him. Tikbalang shot the sniper again, this time definitely, and rolled to the roof of the building, where her and the Machinist took a defensive stance with suppression fire. On the way he dropped some mines around our console to defend it.

The enemy tried his last desperate attack with Al’Hawwas, he did managed to pull down both the T.A.G. and Machinist with his shotgun, but it took him too much time to capitalize it. The Hawwas were finally neutralized by the traumadoc, but our forces were quite depleted as well.

Realizing that there is no safe way to get to the console and grab it without risking to much, we did our classified objective and waited. Still, we get it really far into the Nomad zone, with proper support, the Node will fall!

(OOC: My opponent should maybe win the match, he rolled really bad and lost several on crucial firefights. But he played very well and I had real problem to grab even slight victory I grabbed, so, big respect to him!)
