Varuna Immediate Reaction Division (VIRD) rapid deployment to the location named ‘Harry’s Bar’
Mission: Protect the civilians from the aggressive tactics of the ‘Dashat Company’ (Classified: Remove the threat of the enemy Lieutenant.)
VIRD deployed in a rapid response to the enemy threating the civilian population around the location of ‘Harry’s Bar’. The bulk of the long ranged firepower was concentrated in an overwatch position ready to cover the retreat of civilians of the area with ground troops deployed to provide further cover against the predatory nature of the mercenary force especially McMurrough dubbed ‘McMurder’ by MayaNet.
VIRD confirmed they would not fire on unless fired upon first and the fire fight started when a remote attempted to the use the cover of smoke and the fleeing civilians to wound or kill parts of the VIRD firebase. They were unsuccessful due to the superior training and equipment provided to PanOceania forces and the threat to the civilians and PanOceania lives was removed.
Patsy Garnett and her Orc team affectionally dubbed the ‘Patsy Garnett and the Garnett’s by MayaNet made a bold dash forward on the right flank, Patsy taking a wound but shrugging this off with true PanOceania strength of will and determination she decided to split up her fire team so that they could catch McMurrough in a well timed ambush and remove the threat.
The Al Fashid was removed by carefully planned overwatch fire when the ruthless Al Fashid attempted to wound and or kill the PanOceania HVT.
With successful and careful planning no civilian or PanOceania lives were lost this day and due to PanOceania superior technology Patsy Garnett will make a swift recovery.
