O-12 Bureau Ageis agents attempted an unlawful forced inspection of the Liberty Cargo Spaceport. This necessitated Liberty Cargo to request PanOceanic forces to deploy to prevent Hexahedron operations to be compromised, should any operational data be obtained.
What ensued was nothing less of an annihilation of PanOceanic forces due to O-12 assumptions and an unnecessary escalation. PanOceania will be requesting major reparations from the 0-12 Council. A detailed report of the battle follows below.
With the O-12 forces having first established an offensive position PanOceanic forces deployed to counter as much of the initial O-12 assault as possible, with a multitude of hackers and a ZETA Unit committed to the field PanOceanic defenders were clearly expected.
The assault began with a Cyberghost hacker placing a white noise zone around the ZETA Tactical Armoured Gear. In a coordinated order with a Gangbuster and attached Madtraps the Zeta advanced inside the cover of white noise and the Gangbuster sent the Madtraps as a decoy in front of the Kamau sniper. Aware of these underhanded tactics the Kamau predicted the ZETA assault and dodged for cover but was KIA by the ZETA Hyper-Rapid Magnetic Cannon. The gangbuster continued its advance, ignoring the camouflaged troops before entering cover and planting its Madtraps. The ZETA retreated to full cover and the Syrus unit advanced up the field. The Cyberghost moved and provided Enhanced Reaction supportware for the Dakini Tacbot sniper.
The PanOceanic counter assault began with a Varuna Naval Chasseurs (Cutter) revealing from Thermo-Optical cloak and firing its Heavy Machine Gun on both the Dakini and Peeler Copperbot mercifully putting both out of action. However due to the threat of the Madtraps the Cutter advanced splitting its fire between putting the Dakini, Peeler and both Madtraps to remove the close-range danger and removing the long-range threats permanently from the field. Though it took more ammunition than one would have hoped the Dakini and Madtraps were destroyed. Without the threat of the Madtrap a Crocman sniper revealed from Thermo-Optical cloak to fire on the ZETA damaging it before it retreated further into cover out of LOS. The Crocman moved position and along with the Cutter reactivated TO camouflage.
In retaliation the O-12 Sirius Unit advanced on the position of the camouflaged Crocman and its Sirius bot advanced towards a camouflaged trooper behind the building. Unfortunately for the O-12 commander the distance was misjudged, and a Zulu-Cobra armed with a jammer revealed itself, sending the Siriusbot into isolation before it could inflict any harm. The remaining Team Sirius member coordinated with the Gangbuster to discover and fire upon the hidden Crocman who, unwilling to risk inaction, dived for cover as both troopers opened fire with submachine guns, but was unfortunately KIA. A Cyberghost advanced up the field until it was able to fire a pair of pitchers near the last known location of the hidden Cutter. Risking the possible fire of the Cutter the O-12 mechanic moved to repair the Peeler and was shot and killed as the Cutter revealed itself but not before it managed to bring the Peeler back online. With the Cutter once again revealed the ZETA Unit climbed into range and the TAGs exchanged fire, unfortunately the Cutter was critical damaged twice leaving it barely functioning. Trying to capitalize its advantage and remain safe the ZETA Unit returned to cover as the TAGs exchanged fire again however this time the ZETA was critically damaged.
The Machinist took aim from cover firing at the Sirius assault hacker and moving her attached Palbot closer to the Cutter, the Sirius is wounded and removed as a threat. With only one hacking threat remaining to the Armoured Cavalry, a Zulu-Cobra killer hacker revealed themselves using the O-12 Pitcher attempted to kill the Cyberghost equipped with the HD+ but failed and was KIA by the two O-12 killer hackers. In an attempt to neutralise the threat to the Cutter three Fusiliers sacrificed their lives to the assault of the Peeler HMG to destroy the pitchers threating the Cutter. Unthreatened by immediate hacking the Cutter fired upon the Peeler removing it as a threat once again and the Machinist returned to cover whilst repairing some of the damage to the Cutter with her attached Palbot. The Cutter and Zulu-Cobra then returned to camouflage in preparation of the continued O-12 attack.
The O-12 assault continued as the ZETA returns from cover rediscovering the Cutter with help from the Gangbuster and a Cyberghost. The onslaught from the ZETA disabled the Cutter, Palbot and a Fusilier before it advances safely up the field.
To minimise failure from the mission the Zulu-Cobra Lieutenant advanced on the ZETA and fired praying for salvation but only managed to force the ZETA to retreat out of LOS. The Zulu-Cobra continued its advance firing on both the Gangbuster and Cyberghost but was KIA by a critical wound from the Cyberghost. In a last ditch effort, the single remaining Fusilier exchanged fire with the Gangbuster to no avail, and the PanOceanic task force is driven from the field.
