The battle started with the Spiral Corps taking the initiative, however, the PanO commander had deployed cunningly and the Corps soon found they could not advance without engaging in a fierce fire fight. The Igao charged in, engaging a Father Knight in close combat. He was killed before he could take down the missile toting behemoth. The Kiel-san attempted to remove him from the battlefield, however, his aim was terrible. The draal and taagma team used the opportunity to move into the Armory. They cunningly avoided the missile fire and began setting up a base of fire. Unfortunately, the Kiel-san caught a missile blast by proximity and died. The stubborn PanO moved in, however, their lead units managed to trip, and die to, a few cleverly placed mines. The draal countered by placing a dazer and even more mines. The second tri core team moved up and in a fusillade of shotgun fire cleaved the remaining order sergeants down around the corpse of the Father Knight, the victim of a well placed sub-machine gun burst. The remaining PanO forces moved in, however, they were not able to dislodge the cunning Spiral Agents.
