Asteroid Blues

We had another run in with the Tohaa, they seem intent on moving in on our base here at Liberty cargo area. They set up a beacon on some kind near one of ours, we suspect they may be trying to use it to intercept signals from our beacon, or maybe to disrupt it. What ever they are up to High command has decided that it be removed from there position. We assembled a team of orcs, kamus, and fusiliers to go and take it from them. With squalo ( my tag ) to stay back to defend our beacon, and provide support for the link team with his multi hmg and heavy grenade launcher. Patsy will also help them and peacemaker bot, with an auxbot as support. The link team did a decent job softening up the enemy until the leader was blinded by a flash puls, so we sent the peacemaker up with the auxbot to rush them. The bots did good until they were over run by numerous veggie head people. Patsy moved up to contain them for a time. There was no reaching there beacon, so we went on the defensive. Squalo help keep there heads down with the heavy grenade launcher and the hmg, and when he went down our machinist ran up and repaired him to get him back in the fight, but at the end he was knocked out. So in short neither of us could get the others beacon, we both completed our classifieds, so it would have been a tie but thankfully my classified had the symbol that give the extra point. It was a close one but still a good win.
