Terrordactyl

Rasail Rheet reporting on the unintended incident at Harry's Bar:

After the unfortunate events at the Battery Field, where we didn't expect Haq, investigated, and got locked into pummeling them into retreat, (https://asteroidblues.warconsole.com/battles/rheet-vs-terrordactyl-1568927511) we chose to head to the bar.

Our company's Helot Malitiaman, who's action in our last encounter exceeded what I expect from non-Tohaa, informed us that the Humans have created some entertaining mechanizations in the form of "the Legendary Wild Bill." I don't know who that is but we decided to investigate and relax.

After Helot and Kriigel finished hacking the Wild Bill to hangout with us, we saw more Haq soldiers -- worse, they recognized us and appear to have followed us from the last encounter. They were here for payback, they had 2(!!) Wild Bills of their own.

I saw them posturing again and didn't like it. They positioned in an aggressive formation, but knowing we weren't supposed to harm them, I didn't want to start anything -- we positioned defensively.

I and my Chaksa Scaarlot positioned field right, across from the bulk of their forces.

While I don't much understand Neurocinetics, I have been informed that it is some kind of ability to see and be ready for the immediate future. So when our Helot suddenly shot at the Haq units, I can only assume that he knew they were going to shoot back immediately. Given his heroism in the previous engagement, I trust his decision was the appropriate one.

It sounded like he took out one of theirs, but it must have been stood back up by the company Doctor. Unfortunately, he was then taken out for his efforts.

Helot firing on the encroaching Janissary HMG
The Janisarry, Wild Bill, Leila link team positioned aggressively behind some boxes after wounding our brave Helot Friend.

Proof of Aggravated Retaliation!!!

Janissary positioning to bombard me and Scaarlot as revenge
He then followed up with repeatedly attacking me

The Vengeful Haq Janissary HMG, angled to kill first my faithful Chaksa Scaarlot and then shot at me. He hit my Symbiomate first. It's sacrifice wasn't in vein and I managed to survive and roll away. Unfortunately the Janissary followed up and I fell unconscious.

To me, this is proof that they ran into this bar with the primary intent of hunting us down for their hatred of our biological and strategical supremacy -- as shown at Battery Field.

In retaliation to this horrible offense, Kaeltar led our company to a victory in my name!

Draal, Kriigel, and Kumotail (Tri-core Taagma) advanced on the building covering the Haq link and proceeded to isolate Janissary HMG and Leila Sharif. Kriigle also managed to get off smoke to cover what we planned next.

With Keiigel's smoke in place, Draal advanced and placed a dazer to slow the opponents movements and the Chaksa Link in the left field (lead by Taagma Viral Sniper) moved forward to take out the isolated Leila Sharif.

Draal spotted a last second opportunity, Advanced and pulzared the Haq Spot Bot Toy and their Warcor.

The beginning of their Retreat

With Their link damaged and the Janissary HMG isolated, the remaining link team members (Akbar and a Bill) trekked across the bar to confront the Taagma sniper that just killed Leila Sharif. They managed to wound a Chaksa, damaging that triad.

After Akbar and a Bill hid behind a wall, the Taamga Sniper and remaining Chaksa moved forward to take out the HMG, but repeatedly failed due to complications from the dazer zone and suppressive fire. The Sniper fell to the HMG, but the Chaksa continued on.

Kaeltar knew we needed to end this. He remembered that the Lt of the previous engagement was a Ghulam and though he wasn't sure it was the same Lt. he knew it would fit to have the same vengeance filled person leading this assault. Kaeltar ordered what would likely be a suicide run of the remaining Chaksa.

The Chaksa bravely ran downfield, encountering first Akbar Doctor and a Wild Bill. He managed to enflame the doctor and bill dodged away. Every move Chaksa made toward the likely Lt was met with a roll until finally Bill died by fire.

I am still unsure if the Bill killed in that fire was the Bill they hacked at Harry's Bar or of it was the real Bill.

The Courageous Chaksa had done more than his duety, but the hadn't yet completed his objective. Noble Chaksa continued the assault. He climbed a ladder, landing, blasting flame on the likely Lt and the nearby Naffatun. The Ghulam managed to survive (damn!) but the Naffatun burned, though he took the valiant Chaksa out with him.

Knowing he needed to end the bout, as police were sure to arrive to break up the bar fight, Kaeltar thought about what was left to make sure this didn't happen again -- he realized that a person we thought was a civilian was actually a spy for the Haq units. Under Kaeltar's direction Kriigle and Draal advanced to take our the offending, would-be civilian. Kriigle was taken out by the Janissary HMG -- convincing Draal that this civilian was definitely worth worrying about.

Draal moved out of the HVT good range, shot with the pulzar, and moved to hide behind a wall. Draal took fire from the Janissary, but relied on the Symbiomate to take the brunt of the hit. Draal survived and managed to drag back the body of his Kriigle triad-mate.

At first the Spy was still standing Kaeltar and Draal thought the unarmoured HVT somehow manage to deflect the blow -- We all thought the Draal had failed. Then, likely due to internal bleeding, the HVT fell over and died (we realized templates get a +1 damage in this scenario, haha).

Finally, the fight was over. Both sides knew we had to break and run, the security offices were sure to arrive at any time. We got out of there.

I was revived with a Symbio-bomb shortly after being dragged out of the bar. I've repaired and am ready for battle again. We lost two Chaksas but we managed to save my Chacksa Scaarlot, as well everyone else. We have already received replacements for the Chaksas lost and forever will hold a place in our hearts for the courageous Chaksa who knowingly gave his life in an attempt to end the vengeful leader of these relentless Haqislam company.

After reviewing losses and victories, I think we won, but only on paper. This was a close battle and we hope to never be taken by surprise by these unyielding foes again. We hope they will realize the cost of their vengeance and move on with their lives or die at someone else's hand.
