Athena protocol in full effect. Deployment of the first response team complete. Operation area in full lockdown. Backup Achilles-class body deployed. Aspect transfer complete. Operation start on 12:00 EC sharp.

Onyx Contact Force units identified, deployment complete.
Enemy force consists of Obsidon Med-tech, E-Drone, Q-Drone, R-Drone, Nexus Operatives and Unidron Combat Link. High probability of additional enemy forces concealed in the area.
Response group is lead by Achilles aspect and consists of 3 Netrods (one lost during deployment) providing improved network stability, a regular Myrmidon providing covering fire, Shukra Specialist providing tactical assistance, Zayin Rebot for effective area control, Lamedh Rebot (this one was simply forgotten in the operation area after securing civilian evacuation, but proved to be a valuable asset), Dasyu, a single Libertos conscript for covert activities and sabotage, and a Posthuman operative using several host bodies.

First stage of the engagement complete. The Libertos conscript once again proves that their kind is invaluable by eliminating the potentially problematic Obsidon medical unit. Unfortunately the conscript was promptly eliminated by the enemy E-Drone.
Footnote: Intensify Libertos conscription rate, as they continue to prove highly effective. Consider inclusion of multiple conscripts in combat groups.
While the Libertos was distracting the Combines with covert sabotage, the Achilles aspect acted as a spearpoint of our assault.
Combat effectiveness assessment: devastating, as expected – part of the Unidron Combat Link eliminated.
Excerpt from the Achilles aspect combat report: “Formidable was the foe, but none can withstand my rage… Once again the slaves of the EI prove cunning, but meek when staying their ground against me. A few shots did I fire, yet felled them by the number. And seeing their comrades fall, the enemy revealed their cowardly nature, appearing before my eyes as from thin air, as these honorless dogs are want to do. They struck with fiery spear at me, but Athena shielded me from harm! By Zeus, it was a fine battle!”
The enemy firing rockets at Achilles aspect was later identified as a Noctifier unit. Superior reflexes of the Achilles body proved to be an asset once again.
As another part of retaliatory action, the enemy Q-Drone engaged the allied Zayin Rebot. The shootout outcome: no casualties or permanent damage on both sides. Recalibration of the total reaction module on Zayin Rebot suggested, as it is performing under expected parameters.

Second stage of the engagement complete.
Engagement opened by the Myrmidon providing smoke screen for the Achilles aspect. Excerpt from the Myrmidon aspect combat report:
“Truly did it pain me to see my commander stay his blade, as his blood called him to battle. So upon myself I took the role of Nyx, concealing him from the everprying eyes of our cowardly opponents, so he could finally let his blade sing and destroy all who stood before him. Oh, how glorious the carnage was! Truly, Ares himself guided his sword, as he ripped apart his enemies in blessed rage!”
Enemy casualties included: Noctifier, E-Drone, one of the few remaining Unidrons and a Nexus Operative.
Performance assessment: expected enemy casualties rate, all combat parameters normal.
Unable to reach further opponents, Achilles aspect started spraying bullets at the enemy, providing suppressive fire.
Zayin Rebot recalibrated and finished allied offensive by destroying the enemy Q-Drone. Considering reduced initial combat efficiency of the unit, firmware update is suggested to keep it from becoming obsolete during further engagements with Combined Army.
In retaliation, enemy Malignos trooper opened fire on the Achilles aspect, landing a lucky shot and managing to disable the aspect’s L-Host. Myrmidon aspect concerning the event:
“As I saw my commander felled, victim to foul trickery of the enemy, I was consumed by righteous anger! My hand guided by Athena herself, I struck out with vengeance of steel and fury against the godforsaken creature who dared defy the will of the gods and their chosen son! True did I strike, and the enemy was consumed by the vengeful flames of Hades!”
Malignos unit was eliminated as it attempted to push the offensive. Myrmidon aspect combat effectiveness evaluation: exemplary, combat logs included in combat simulation training for new Myrmidon aspects.
As a final part of the enemy counter-offensive, a Nexus Spec Ops attempted to reach one of the Orbital Defense System consoles, presumably to plant a VoodooTech virus. His advance was halted by the final allied push.

Final stage of the engagement complete.
While the loss of Achilles risked throwing the combat group into disarray, Shukra Specialist promptly assumed command, providing cohesion necessary for the final push.
Proxy Engineer and Myrmidon secure the remaining mission objectives, while the Dasyu hacker drops camouflage and engages the Nexus Spec Ops before he manages to reach his destination. The skirmish quickly turns into a disaster for the enemy force, as the Nexus unit and Ikadron unit are eliminated sending the enemy forces into panicked retreat.
