“What? Who invited him to the briefing?” Asked Adindin, the Umbra in charge of the operation.
Nobody answered. Even unarmed the Overdon’s bulk dominate the room.
“Whatever…” The Umbra continued.
“Looks like a Military Orders contingent will be opposing us in the Liberty Cargo Logistics Center, so armour punching weapons everyone.” Adindin patted his K1 combi.
“We move in, hold the area as long as we have to. Jaeger, are you paying attention or just petting that… Preta…?”
The Mercenary didn’t look his way, just responded with a thumbs up. And continued to pet the beast.
Adindin contained a snarl, “Any questions?”
A webbed hand went up, Adindin rolled his eyes. “Yes, Squidly, this operation is integral to our support of the resistance on your home world. Does that answer your question?
