Asteroid Blues

We were informed about a spy who had managed to get insight in the plans of the AI for the Asteroid. We immediately set course to the Main Strip where our informant had lost contact with the target.
Asura lead the first squad since we had previously lost the two Netrods. Just around the first corner she found the enemy waiting for the gathered intel. The NA-2! Sadly on the first contact Asura got a load of a fast hardening substance and was pinned down on the spot, unable to move.
With the enemy identified, it was time to set the Dakini Fireteam in motion. First target was the Shihab Remote that was in position to protect the consoles we would need to identify the spy. The HMG did the job and cleared the way for the Daleth Rebot. The Daleth advanced and reached the first console. A quick data download revealed the identity of the NA-2 spy. Sadly, a hidden Hunzakuts shut the Daleth down. At least we knew our main target.
The Dakini Fireteam advanced and killed a Libertos and the Bounty Hunter that stopped our Asura. A ricochet sadly hit a Dakini hard and took him out, and the same happened to the most advanced Deva. The Deva Hacker advanced to the next console and killed the Designated Target before gathering some information on a decoy the spy had set. An other Fanous Remote got killed by the Fireteam, then the advance came to a stop.
The NA-2 advanced with their Fireteam and killed the Deva Hacker on the second attempt with their Rui Shi. The advance came to a sudden end when they met the Dakini Fireteam. After salve on salve, almost out of ammo, Zhúyŏng finally killed the Dakini HMG.
In the meanwhile Mc Mourrough trying to sneak along the scene paid no attention to the Shadowshooter aiming at him. A critical hit slowed the big bad wolf down little. He advanced further, a little more cautious now, and attacked the Dakini Fireteam head on. Bad idea… The Spitfire Deva took a hit, but killed the wolf.
We killed the decoy, but lost the Shadowshooter and our Shukra Lieutenant during the attack. On a last attempt, the Fireteam shot the Zhúyŏng unconscious and searched for cover.
The NA-2 completely freaked out and killed the rest of the Fireteam and the Asparas. While the Fireteam showed no mercy, the Hunzakuts and Valerya Gromoz manipulated two consoles but did not identify our informant.
This would have been the perfect moment to retreat. The main target killed, our informant unknown… Still, there was our Asura, immobilized but still intact. With only a Probot left, we had to watch as the enemy finally killed all decoys and our informant in a last advance.
As a final cruel mockery, they left the scene, leaving the Asura behind. Helpless but unharmed…
