Asteroid Blues

The Final Push of Phase I is being made by the Ariadnans on the Haq Islam. The last chance to chase the Haq Islamites from this position and put Ariadna back on the map. AEC troops move in, but find a strong PanOceanian force in their way. The Pano troops want the guns not to be aimed and their ships and do not trust Haq Islam or Ariadna fully with the guns, even under O-12 Supervision. Svalharheiman forces are here to take ground. And Ariadna will face them on the Frontline.

The Nisses team sees themselves surrounded by hidden forces. With their Multi spectral Visors they go on the hunt for ariadnan troops. They find mines and decoys, but no Ariadnans yet to be found.

On the Panoceanian left flank, a Fusilier link is feeling the heat. Thinking Uxia is close by on a rooftop, and being watched by hidden Ariadnans, they first check the firelane. Apparently their Forward observer, aint up to the job. He can't find nothing. So his partner takes a peak and spots a Mine. After destroying the mine they....tactically move back, hoping to get out of range of Uxia.

Duroc drops in near the Fusiliers and starts throwing grenades at them. But the Fusiliers manage to scramble away from the blast. So it is up to the Veteran Kazak who sees fusiliers in the open. He aims his MK12 and...

Margot and the Veteran Kazak go in Suppresion fire. But Pano has a trick up its sleeve. A CSU with a nanopulser, blasts Margots position. She survives the first attempt, but the second one takes her out. Margot manages to wound the CSU. Only to see her rise again because of regeneration. Corporate is Evil!

The Jotum comes to the aid of the Fusiliers and tries to prevent the collapse of their flank, with Ariadnans pushing in. A firefight occurs between the Jotum and the Veteran Kazak. Wounding the Kazak, but he holds his position.

Duroc rushes the Jotum in rage. A D.E.P. misses its mark and an explosive round from the Jotum is absorbed by the Armor of Duroc. They go toe-to-toe!

With the Jotum locked in combat, the Ariadnans try to dismantle the Pano bunker in the middle. Uxia opens fire on the Hospitaler and the Nisse sniper, but she only chases them away. The Veteran kazak sees an opening to take on the Hospitaler mano a mano. A shot through his eye ends that quickly. Even the spetnaz comes in to open fire upon the Bunker, but the Nisses hide inside. The mission was unsuccesful and the PanOceanians are still in a good position to counter.

The PanOceanians try to break free from the encirclement. the Nisse sniper moves into the doorframe to engage the Spetsnaz. Only to be riddled with bullets. The Hospitaler faces of with Uxia and has more luck, taking down the skirmisher.

The Ariadnans keep the Jotum out of the fight and close in on the rest of the PanOceanian army. Another Fusilier bites the dust be an incoming Chasseur. The Hyperpower stands no chance in such an unfavorable position and sound the retreat!
