… We have been stationed deep in the labyrinths of the ammunition depot for what feels like weeks. This new EI press campaign has been uneventful for me, but I have a good feeling about today…

…Reports have started coming in that the human government O-12 has sent its own agents to root out a couple of our Morat detachments. Special Agent Sheskiin has been assigned here to assist in operations, and we have been instructed to mobilize. I love a good intimidation campaign, makes for great news. With one of our Mentors running the show for this mission we were able to easily surprise the Humans and the operation is set to begin…

… The labyrinthine design of this sector of ammunition worked to our advantage, and with the assistance of a Nox hacker our Plasma drone was able to move up a flank to disable a Varangain guard. Unfortunately it took a chain rifle blast and a mad trap in return I had, so I had to move a slave drone into position to get a better picture. The Ur’s medical training is top notch, but seeing plasma burns up close is always something special to behold. With the Drone successfully repaired and unstuck, one of our Caliban’s decided to take up an overwatch position on the other flank with his rocked launcher. The Humans began to mobilize at this point, sending a poor Varangian Guard out to fight our hidden Caliban. He revealed, but his vision was clouded by a smoke grenade, saving her life. Many have made the mistake of fighting a Caliban before, but few have lived to regret it. She advanced with her shotgun and was downed in a returned volley. Our plasma drone was once again rendered ineffective, this time for good by a gangbuster.

… I have just received another report that Sheskiin is mobilizing, taking her two Jayth attaches with her. She effortless beats down a piece of inferior Human engineering design and the team takes up position, sending one Jayth forwayd for a panoply. The humans have mobilized once more, this time revealing a Gamma positioned near our Caliban. The explosive shots ripped through him, and he’s beyond saving. A Beta doctor moved forward and attempted to directly engage our units in the ammo supply room, but his efforts were quickly quelled by our Jayth’s Vulcan Shotgun.

… The humans are showing signs of fatigue. We have moved many of our forces into the ammo department, and they will hopefully scatter soo-. Hold on, I am receiving more breaking news that a Lynx has de-cloaked near the objective room, and the familiar smell of hot plasma has begun filling the area. When the action subsided briefly the situation wasn’t looking good. Our Mentor, Nox, and a previously glued Jayth were all caught in the blast. At this point Sheskiin and the Lynx are the only two that remain in the room.That primitive Human replication of Voodootech must have jammed, because the Lynx advanced toward Sheskiin and fired her assault pistol instead. She easily dodged the final enemy shots, and at this point her presence must have frightened all other remaining units. It is always a treat to see Sheskiin in action, and today is no different. This will hopefully prove to be a devastating Human loss.
