Asteroid Blues

1st turn Aleph.

With a series of tactical maneuvers, the ALEPH forces took control of 3 antennas previously owned by the Nomads, and dispersed across the battlefield, waiting for a Military Order’s counterattack. Machaon led the charge, personally taking control of one of the antennae on his lieutenant’s order. Unfortunately, not everywhere the attack went perfectly, one of Thorakites failed to cope with the mission entrusted to him. Also one member of Naga’s unit has managed to slip past security forces of M. orders and destroy VIP person, however, as it turned out during the analysis of operation, this action was a tactical error and brought nothing to ALEPH.

1st turn Military Orders.

It was necessary to act immediately and with determination. Joan of Arc led a counterattack, leading the link of the glorious knights of Panoceania. Fortunately, our operatives were lucky: the destruction of the Naga’s operative took three orders. The sacrifice of this brave warrior, as well as every other sacrifice this day, will not be forgotten. During this fierce firefight, the Proxy Unit Mk 2 showed her best side, her well-aimed shot from a multi-sniper rifle eliminated Hospitaller-Doctor. Unfortunately, her body was destroyed by a counter-fire from spitfire. Joan’s squad moved in the direction of the Aspect’s main force, capturing one of the antennae on the way and failing to connect to the other. Joan tried to destroy myrmidon and Dart, but failed and found herself on the other side of a smokescreen, however, she managed to kill ALEPH’s VIP with one of her shots. She also stumbled and fell under the mine explosion, which, however, passed for her painless. Then Joan made a final attempt to eliminate Machaon, wanting to destroy the ALEPH line of command, but failed, suffering a wound from the Deva’s return fire.

2nd turn Aleph.

Deva tried to develop success by shooting Joan, but only loses a wound and stay in NWI state. Dart took matters into her own hands and kills Joan. The following three orders were spent on the attempts to finish off a link of knights with E/M grenades, but they successfully block all incoming damage. The only success can be considered a wound inflicted on De Fersen, but this wound costs Darts life.

2nd turn M.O.

The orders are under the effect of Loss a Lieutenant. A Sergeant in TO managed to take control of the antenna closest to him on his own orders, and then, with the help of command tokens spent to transfer irregular orders into regular ones, reached the central antenna, previously held by the Aleph, and seized control of it. De Fersen had a skirmish with myrmidon, from which he emerged victorious. Moreover, he was able to perform it on classify objective (Coup de Grace).

3rd turn Aleph.

One of Thorakites successfully FO-ed De Fersen that allows ALEPH to perform the first of classifies. Then, Machaon decides to take the fight into his own hands. Under cover of eclipse-smokes he gets to De Fersen and made him unconscious in hand-to-hand battle. This allows ALEPH to perform two more classify objectives (Nano-espionage and Coup de Grace). Then the Veteran Myrmidon Officer takes control of the immediate antenna, while receiving a wound

from the oncoming fire of the knights and remaining in NWI state. At this time, Thorakites and Dasyu manage to seize control of two more points, but Dasyu sacrifices her life in the process.

3rd turn M.O.

Hospitaller-HMG’s well-aimed fire destroys Thorakites and Naga, which tried to attack him from camouflage, one after the other, but then he dies in close combat with Machaon. Knight of Santiago kills another Thorakites, trying to seize control of the Machaons antennae, but fails the WIP roll. The Sergeant once again intercepts the central antennae, however, because of the failure of the movement he gets in range of the mines and died.

Result: M.O. control 3 antennas, ALEPH 4. M.O. killed more SpecOps and executed classify objective. ALEPH executed 3 classify objectives.

Final score: 7: 3 in favor of ALEF
