Asteroid Blues

Someone in the northern Aleph’s office of the gallery maze heard about suspicious intruders around the Spaceport area, but none of the high officers were going to allow any kind of mission on that facilities. At least not officially.

A small group of operatives commanded by Scylla was close to the area, exploring every corner of the Main Strip without success. Boredom flew away when an encrypted message arrived to the techno device of Scylla. “Get ready to move, time to secret special party”. Two hours later, the operative was deployed in the Spaceport area, waiting for the following instructions.

One Kriza Borac appeared from behind a box, followed by a Hollow man fully armed. Dart, in a camo state heard them and warned the rest of the group, without revealing herself.
“Why Nomads here? Are them really Nomads?” Many questions coming to Scylla’s mind while she was ordering to put the Total reaction HMG in the rearguard, just in case. Those tactical assault units did not seem to be friendly.
Finally, both factions faced. Aleph was not there (officially), so did not want to make the first move. “What if we try to talk with them?” Nomad operatives also did nothing. Just wait. Time passed by.

The Kriza heavy infantry received orders. Now we know that the Special Hacker from the Nomad operative detected our “hidden special weapon”, a Marut TAG. Was that the trigger? who knows but Kriza opened fire versus the HMG Total reaction, that went to pieces.
On the west side of the deployment, some puppets and a Tsyklon remote moved ahead until a mk2 sniper proxy finished them off from behind a ladder. That was the best position for her. She was covering one side of the area from the distance.
Was Dart’s moment. She tried to stop Kriza and Hollow man destruction and progress, but she just got one wound back.
Proxy Mk5 had to do the job with E/M speculative grenade attacks, and after immobilizing those weight Nomad infantry, Dart could get closer to the Grenzers with missile launchers, finishing them with her SMG. The Nomad hacker appeared from Dart’s back with a boarding shotgun. That was too much for our woman.
Finally, the Marut started moving, going unstoppable ahead along the western flank. All three puppets, and the rest of the securitates in the Nomad’s deployment area went down with the multi HMG of the Marut.

When the smoke from the myrmidons disappeared, just that Nomad hacker was alive. Did she started this with that order to Kriza? Who knows… but she just survived and vanished from the area without any additional information left.
