The orders are received; so far so good. The mission was assigned to a newly-arrived Invincible Army team.
The first sign of trouble was being tailed by a reporter who stayed just the wrong side of the rules of war to avoid being … discouraged. On arrival at the target location we were dismayed to find a detachment from one of the Military Orders who had been overlooked by army intelligence. Despite their presence, we located a suitable habitation structure and moved towards it. Our adapting lieutenant attempted to lure the enemy forces into an ambush and deployed mines to cover her flank.
My Zuyong squad entered the target structure and came under sustained but ineffectual infowar Attack. This was shrugged off by our armour’s defences.
