Primary Objective: Engage and Destroy enemy force

Secondary Objective: Identify and Eliminate enemy officers, Identify and Eliminate enemy specialists

Classified Objective: Detain an HVT with information relevant to the alien infiltration

LROG Team 1 responded to an automated Biometric Scanner alert triggered by an alien force deployed near the Liberty Cargo Spaceport. Team 1 advanced to destroy the alien forces, eliminate their leadership and specialists. We were assigned a classified objective by the Inner Hexahedron to detain a HVT in the area of operations who was wanted for questioning related to the infiltration of this, and other, alien groups into the Liberty Cargo facility. The aliens were dug into an advantageous position, but we seized the initiative and engaged aggressively.

Montesa Motorized Knight Diego [REDACTED] advanced aggressive up the center of the operations area, taking advantage of the cover offered by one of the central buildings to close with and pick off the alien beastmaster and their beast, followed by the two alien troopers in overwatch positions.
He then advanced into the center of the alien position, engaging one of their assault troopers and a sentinel creature, opening a breach in their rear defenses.

Exploiting the opening thus opened Akali Assault Gunner Nicolas [REDACTED] dropped into the rear of the alien positions. He engaged the flank across from Montesa Diego and inflicted substantial damaged, eliminating several of their troopers.

The aliens responded by attempting to assault Montesa Diego, but he survived flamethrower fire and managed to gun down another alien as it closed on him.

The aliens then moved to engage Akali Nicolas. He managed to fend off their first attempt to put him down, but too many of them were able to draw fire onto him and he went down, wounded.

Seeking to clear out the remaining alien forces the Optimate Huntress, Dart, moved into a firing position and (despite taking several shots in a performance which she would, perhaps, prefer was not remembered) managed to eliminate a key alien defensive unit protecting their flank.

This opened the way for Bagh-Mari Gunner Tomas [REDACTED] to advance and engage the surviving aliens. He was able to put down most of the remaining alien troopers, but was wounded before he could finish off the last of them and they were able to put in one final attack.

The remaining aliens attempted to finish off all those PanOceanians they could. However the effective close combat and short range defensive fire of Montesa Diego eventually put an end to their feeble attempts to fight back.

Akali Assault Gunner Nicolas was killed and his cube has been returned to Acontecimento for resurrection. Bagh-Mari Gunner Tomas and Montesa Motorized Knight Diego were wounded and are recuperating in the infirmary on POS Phoenix.
