Asteroid Blues

Aquí el comandante Zelos informando. Hemos encontrado uno de los puntos clave de lo que sucede en éste asteroide. Volvimos a dar con el Kiiutan que nos ayudó previamente. Por encargo de la directora de Spiral Corps, Luubna Kaaram, llevaba infiltrado en la Compañía Ikari durante unos años. Hace unos meses contactó con ellos un ente anónimo llamado Jr. Messer, el cual escaló rápido en la jerarquía de la Compañía y luego desapareció. O eso hizo creer. En realidad se trataba del lider de una célula del Ejercito Combinado que se había establecido en el barrio japonés del asteroide y estaba enviando información falsa desde un par de balizas y tenían al hizo de un alto cargo de la Compañía para que no les delatara.

El agente Kiiutan acababa de descubrir el asunto y contactó con nosotros de inmediato para solucionar el asunto. Nuestra misión: Capturar y proteger la baliza, en ella hay información vital para los Tohaa.

Gracias al Kiiutan pudimos pillar a la célula del Ejercito Combinado desprevenida y tomamos la iniciativa.
La triada liderada por la saboteadora Draal avanzó entre los contenedores del lugar y se posicionó para acabar con una Maakrep que estaba defendiendo un pasillo. Gracias a ello nuestra compañera Clipso pudo avanzar y situarse frente a un Zángano-Q y abatirlo. Llegó el turno de Kiiutan, el cual avanzó y fue interceptado por una Asesina Especular que estaba escondida tras un contenedor. No supuso ningún problema para nuestro agente. Tras aquello llegó hasta el Óbsidon Medcanoide, con el que acabó pese a perder la armadura simbionte. Tras aquello se escondió y se puso en fuego de supresión.

Como contraataque primero la Maakrep intentó utilizar un Automedikit pero se mató en el intento. Luego un Ikadrón intentó acabar con el agente Kiiutan con su lanzallamas pero acabó destruido por el Gao-Rael que estaba cubriendo el pasillo por el que pasó. La última en actuar fue Treitak Anyat, acabó con la Clipso y con el Krakot pero cayó ante el impacto del Chain Rifre del mercenario.

Thanks to Kiiutan, we were able to catch the unsuspecting Combined Army cell and we took the initiative.

As a counterattack first the Maakrep tried to use an Automedikit but killed himself in the attempt. Then an Ikadrón tried to kill Agent Kiiutan with his flamethrower but ended up destroyed by the Gao-Rael who was covering the corridor he passed through. The last to act was Treitak Anyat, he ended the Clipso and the Krakot but fell to the impact of the Mercenary Chain Rifre.

Tras tralizar tantas bajas en el bando enemigo ya había vía libre para que nuestra teniente Sukeul llegase hasta la baliza, la capturase y se escondiese con ella tras un edificio lejos de la zona de despliegue enemigo. Sabiendo ésto el Kiiutan acabó con el Zángano con repetidor EVO y fue a acabar con el teniente enemigo, pero éste consiguió dejarlo inconsciente.

Gracias a la intervención del agente Kiiutan al detruir el Zángano la estrategia del Ejercito Combinado fue destruida. Una Fraacta y un Rasyat intentarón recuperar la baliza que teníamos en nuestro poder desde el inicio de la contienda. Sin embargo, ninguno consiguió aterrizar cerca de ella. Sólo la Fraacta consiguió caer cerca de una civil Tohaa que se encontró casualmente cerca del combate. La intentó escanear pero el Gao-Rael lo impidió con un disparo de Spitfire.

A Fraacta and a Rasyat tried to recover the beacon that we had in our possession since the beginning of the contest. However, none managed to land near her. Only the Fraacta managed to fall near a Tohaa civilian who found herself casually close to combat. He tried to scan it but the Gao-Rael prevented him with a Spitfire shot.

Había que acabar con la célula totalmente. Nuestra teniente pilló por la espalda a la Fraacta y acabó con ella. Luego la saboteadora Draal acabó con el amortajado que estaba escondido en lo alto de un edificio con su pistola viral mientras un Kaeltar salvaba al rehén. Sólo quedaba el mentor y el Rasyat, cuando fuimos a por ellos ya se habían escapado del campo de batalla.

La victoria fue nuestra.

You had to end the cell completely. Our lieutenant caught the back of the Fraacta and killed her. Then the saboteur Draal ended up with the shroud that was hidden on top of a building with his viral gun while a Kaeltar saved the hostage. Tras esta misión nuestro equipo va a dedicarse a proteger a los civiles del barrio japonés de cualquier posible amenaza, aunque nos confirman que hay otros grupos en el extrarradio defendiendo la zona de cualquier amenaza. Una vez acabe el conflicto volveremos a Paradiso.

Tras vivir éste conflicto nos surgen muchas dudas:
¿Cual es el futuro de nuestra raza ahora que no tenemos manera de volver a casa?
¿Podremos sobrevivir en la Esfera Humana mucho tiempo? Rodeados de una raza para enfocada únicamente en autodestruirse en lugar luchar contra una amenaza que ha acabado ya conquistando razas enteras...
¿Porqué Spiral Corps tenía al Kiiutan infiltrado en el barrio japonés?

Desde luego, vivimos tiempos muy oscuros para los que hemos quedado aislados en éste lugar de la galaxia. Sin embargo, que no quepa la menor duda de que lucharemos por el bien de nuestra raza hasta el final.
