+++ Stöger on a secure channel +++
My JSA bodyguards got the order to assault the Jiyuan Open-Pit Site Operations Hub as a revenge for the constant Yu Jing attacks on the Main Strip. I have earned the trust in the last battles and they asked me to do the official Warcor duty. I agreed, because I kinda like these Japanese guys and I could need the money.
We set off early in the day, ready to face the dreaded Imperial Service with its agents and zombie like KuangShi when the killer machine showed up …
+++ … +++

We played the official Quadrant Control mission, but we totally forgot the missions special rules because we had some stress before the game.

Overview of the Open Pit site

Deployment

Setup

I won the lieutenant roll and choose table side in the hope to get the 2nd turn for Quadrant Control, but my opponent was a little too happy to take the first turn.
I deployed everything, including my three hidden deployment models. After that, the Seraph went down, together with my RuiShi.

Turn 1 - Panociania

I had deployed my Ninja Assault Hacker on the left tableside and immediately regretted to have deployed too early when the Seraph went right to attack my lines.

The Seraph killed the main threat. The linked Keisotsu ML.

+++ ... +++
The JSA commander ordered me to overwatch a good part of the battlefield. I could barely see the huge TAG that approached our position. Clearly no Yu Jing! I did wear my neutral Warcor helmet, but the last thing I remembered was the pain of bullets ripping me apart ...
... a faint hope that the backup cube would be working and everything went black.
+++ ... transmission aborted ... +++

Stöger going down by HMG fire.
Rui Shi going down by Seraph fire
My brave Keisotsu FO tanked three HMG hits ...
... before he went down like everything else.
A Krakot moved in my territory to melee the Ryuken who dropped a mine.
The doctor also going down.

The Seraph could spent 11 orders even with 2 stripped. Thanks to the Joan, the Datatracker special order and Tactical Awareness. A very deadly list.

Turn 1 - Japanese Secessionist Army

I lost five orders in group one and had a Krakot, a Croc-Man and a Seraph Datatracker in my zone. I had to restrain Yojimbo to not loose him immediately to the Seraph and I tried with Smoke and a Repeater to hack the TAG, but had only one order to do that and the TAG passed its BTS roll.
With the remaining orders I revealed all my hidden deployment markers to claim more quadrants, but I failed with measuring a table side.

The Krakot went finally down after four combi rifle hits and two mines had no effect.
Markers claiming zones.
Oniwaban failed to move in the right quadrant by 1"

Turn 2 - Panoceania

Pano continuing with the killing spree
Japanese were easy pray
Resistance was useless
One order one kill.
Even a TO-camo boarding shotgun could not kill a Helot in 4".
And Ninjas get mopped up in melee.

I had only 35 army points left at the start of my turn 2. It was a terrible game where all my errors got brutally exploited by hot dice of my panoceaonian opponent.
In hindsight, I should have counterdeployed the Seraph with either Shinobu or the Ninja Assault Hacker. Furthermore, it was an error to reveal all my TO-camo models to reclaim the quadrants. The table was too open for them to hide and I maybe could have taken back the game with a Monofilament attack on the TAG. What broke my neck where the loss of 5 orders in my main group. This way, I could not attack the Seraph with Shinobu.
The game was well played by Rot_Sechs even if my dice where no match for his. Thanks for the match!
