Asteroid Blues

The report said black Bart the smuggler was in the battery area taking advantage of the tension and skirmish between the ariadna forces and the haaqislam. An elite group of agents were sent out with hvy aleph support to handle the situation. Unfortunately it was a trap set by certain corporate interests intent on derailing a certain investigation into their affairs. The ambush was brutal and the alpha they were after was neutralized.
Okay I struggle with pano no matter what faction I play. They are brutal and their new linked teams have made them even worse. Combine with still learning o12 and never fighting pano with them before and I was set up for disaster.
Turn 1 was all cops. I had control in the midfield tied up his nastiest link team and although I revealed my lynx sooner than I wanted it was a solid turn. Having engaged Angus with a varangian the turn wrapped up with Angus getting hit by my cc weapon and 2 multi rifle shots from his link mates and surviving. All 3 hits I should have seen the writing on the walls.
I was a little too aggressive and pano made me pay. An auxilia sacrificed to eat mad traps. A Swiss guard in the right place with a great angle took out my key players and my v guard were taken down.
Pano did what pano do and took up great covering positions…basically daring me to come out and die or stay in place. As you can tell by the score I tried. I really tried but the mistakes were just too many and I paid the price.
I have some new ideas though and respect that pano will take some work and a careful list. I have to use smoke and be more pano than pano.
