Asteroid Blues

It was Krugs! And while Cabaray was practicing for the Paris Satalite VS Bucketknight, I was coaching 2 fairly new players all while taking on WanderingIgors Morats!

We playes the AB Commcentre but the location closed haveway through the game and decided to report it on the new Gorge location. Enjoy!

Winning the initiative roll I decided to choose table saide and forced the morats to deploy first. I withheld my total reaction remote and counter deployed on his single smokethrower (the Witchsoldier). Nomads set up to on covert positions to take the comms at both flanks.

The Daturazi stormed forward enmediately engaged by the Reaction Zond. It managed to be hit multiple times over 3 orders and only go down on the last one. This prevented the smoke/MSV combo with his Yoagat Sniper. The last one managed to take down the reaction zond as Lt. Lisa smiled as it had down it's job. Peculiar behavior from morats, they went for the objectives, takes all 3 comms at my opponents side.

Lt. Lisa opened up initiative on her side and took the central comms on my side. Her groudn team made up off 3 securitats, a grenzer FO and Pereus engaged the sogorat and only managed to take the behemoth down after multiple orders of shooting. The team moved up and took the 2 comms on the left flank while setting up for a Morat counter.

The Morat heavy hitters were down and doctor Worm was not having it. With a for mental commands he moved his servants to resuscitate the Sogarat and Yaogat sniper. The Ikadron moved into the Groundteams position and sprayed it's flamers. Lt. Lisa reacted quickly by isolating the alien construct. The securitats managed to dodge the flames.
The Sogarat stood up and produced his assault pistol, while taking several shiotgun blasts to his armour he managed to take down 2 securitats before his armour locked up. Lt. Lisa forehead began to break sweat as she was multitasking.

Even isolated the Ikadron was still a threat. The Kriza moved up on the right flank with his Hollowman buddy. He managed to take down the Yaogat sniper without much trouble while the Hollowman was taking the closed right commsarray. Both moved on flanked the Ikadron and ended it. The next commsaray was flipped. While the Kriza set up a defensive position, the Hollowman attempted to hunt down dr Worm, but dropped the persuit and started threatening the Suryat lt. without succes.
The ground team put boarding shotguns to breach the frozen Sogarats armour.

The Morat Lt. (Suryat) retook positions on the edge of the roof to confront the Kriza. Both using HMGs he managed 1 wound all while his suits anti-inforwar protected him form the Hollowman hacker. The Zerat tried a shot at the hollowman and immediately came to regret it.

Lt. Lisa smiled as her hacking device went into overdrive. She commanded her ground team to hold ground. The securitat teamleader rushed to her wounded colleague and got him on her shoulders. Perseus secured the HVT.

The game ended in a 8-0 victory for the Nomads and succesfully booting the Morat from the Gorge!
