Asteroid Blues

This report is a part of three battles that I played this weekend in my city, Querétaro. I played three rounds, one against a new player (0uroboros, C8486) and two against two infinity veterans (Aikas, B6410 and JefePanda H0103).

In this three reports won't be any pictures as we were playing timed and I couldn't use the time to take pictures.

Commander 0uroboros was a new adding of the Nomads that just arrived to the asteroid. As he was fresh meat and Novvy Bangkok was a huge meat grinder, they wanted to baptize him in fire for this, they chose the Ramah Taskforce equipped with the well know, Icy Maggy.

The commander started the exercise aggressively, moving his Brigadas and Gecko dangerously close to the Haqqislam forces. They didn't do much more than position themselves.

The RTF used this closeness to launch a Nahab against their Brigadas and try to bring them down one by one. Although the Nahab reached easily the team, he couldn't make any significant damage to them. He fell down by a flamethrower.

Seeing this, our Zhayedan team advanced in order to hit the Gecko, but a just positioned Intruder shot our ML. Thankfully, the HMG killed him. After this, the Zhayedan could only reposition.

Knowing that out warrior was not guarding our medic no more, McMurrough advanced towards him. Our HMG shot him several times, connecting one shot. In the other side, a Brigada ML started shooting towards Maggy and though she was hit the thick armor resisted the sufficient.

We were circled by the Corregidor forces, so we needed to hammer our way out. In our left, Maggy brought down the ML Brigada. In our right, the HMG hit the big wolf bringing him down. There was only one more bump, the Gecko.

The HMG moved into a corner with full view of the Gecko, emptied the cartridge yet a bullet reached our soldier, the task was passed so to the Zhayedan Breaker. With just two bursts brought down the Gecko and entered suppression in order to defend his position.

Seeing their troops being eliminated, they wanted retake the advantage. Their first try came with a Brigada that came into a shootout with the Zhayedan, he got shot in his try. Then an Alguacil that also failed his opportunity. We needed to take this comeback hardly.

Maggy started moving towards the center yet a Bandit reached her in CC so the order to control the center was given to the Zhayedan. He run into the middle field encountering only another Alguacil as "resistance". In the end, this hero of the Sword of Allah not just defended bravely our honor but also teached a lesson to the new Nomad commander, never underestimate the people of the Haqqislam!
