No se oía nada en el almacén salvo sus propios pasos y el inevitable rechinar de las orugas del TAG. Sin embargo, ninguno de los soldados podía evitar tener la sensación de estar siendo observados. Las sombras que se proyectaban en el almacén parecían tener vida propia y en más de una ocasión los soldados creyeron percibir movimiento allá donde no estaban mirando directamente. Algo totalmente esperable tratándose de escoria shasvastii, pero también en caso de tratarse de infieles ariadnos.

Nothing could be heard in the warehouse except their own steps and the inevitable grinding of the tracks of the TAG. However, none of the soldiers could avoid having the feeling of being seen. The shadows that were projected in the warehouse seemed to have a life of their own and on more than one occasion the soldiers thought they perceived movement there where they were not looking directly. Something totally expected in the case of Shasvastii scum, but also in the case of Ariadna infidels.

Temiendo una emboscada, Nasila Az-Badr, la oficial Naffatûn al frente del destacamento ordenó a sus tropas tomar posiciones defensivas. Ni bien se habían parapetado llegó el ataque ariadno.
El fuego enemigo comenzó con un Spetsnaz disparando su ametralladora contra el Fasid. Más de 10 proyectiles impactaron en él, pero tanto su armadura de acero como su armadura de fe hicieron que se mantuviera en pie, listo para responder. En el otro flanco, un Scout activó una consola y dejó una mina junto a ella, para dificultar el avance de la Espada de Alá.

Fearing for an ambush, Nasila Az-Badr, the Naffatûn officer in command of the detachment ordered her troops to take defensive positions. As soon as they had made so, the Ariadnan attack came.
The enemy fire began with a Spetsnaz shooting his HMG at the Fasid. More than 10 projectiles hit him, but both his steel armor and his faith armor made him stand, ready to respond. On the other flank, a Scout activated a console and left a mine next to it, to hinder the advance of the Sword of Allah.

Percibiendo lo que parecía una silueta enemiga en una esquina frente a él, los sensores que incorporaba el casco del Fasid la analizaron solo para confirmar que se trataba de un señuelo. Eso dio vía libre al equipo formado por una Namurr y dos jenízaros Hortlak para avanzar hacia la otra consola y después continuar en dirección al pabellón de donde había surgido el Spetsnaz, dispuestos a neutralizarlo. Pero por el camino detectaron la presencia de nuevas siluetas sospechosas. La Namurr usó su E/Marat contra una de ellas, lo que reveló a una chassaur observadora de artillería, que además quedó aislada del resto de sus compañeros. Pero en respuesta a ello, Vassily Plushenko, oficial de tankhunters, apareció en lo alto de un pabellón, hiriendo a la supersoldado con su fusil de francotirador T2, que evitó la muerte gracias a sus modificaciones genéticas. Viéndose rodeada de enemigos, la Namurr trató de retirarse, y aunque acabó con la chasseur con un tiro de su escopeta, terminó sucumbiendo ante su lanzallamas. El Hortlak cadena de mando activó en ese momento la consola que tenía cerca, y se atrincheró tras cobertura.

Perceiving what looked as an enemy shape in a corner in front of him, the sensors that were incorporated in the hull of the Fasid analyzed it, only to confirm that it was a decoy. That gave free way to the team formed by a Namurr and two Hortlak Janissaries to advance towards the other console and then continue towards the pavilion where the Spetsnaz had appeared, ready to neutralize him. But along the way they detected the presence of new suspicious silhouettes. The Namurr used his E/Marat against one of them, which was revealed as a Chasseur FO, and who was also isolated from the rest of his teammates. But in response to this, Vassily Plushenko, the Tankhunter officer, revealed himself at the top of a pavilion, wounding the super soldier with his T2 sniper rifle, who avoided death thanks to his genetic modifications. Being surrounded by enemies, the Namurr tried to retreat, and although she killed the Chasseur with a shot from her shotgun, she ended up succumbing to her flamethrower. The Hortlak chain of command activated at that time the console that was nearby, and became entrenched behind coverage.

El Maghariba salió de detrás de un pabellón y abrió fuego contra Vassily, abatiéndolo con facilidad. Algo más a su derecha, los sistemas electrónicos habían indicado la posible presencia de minas junto con enemigos camuflados. Buscando en todo momento proteger vidas humanas, se designó al Rafiq que acompañaba al TAG la misión de hacerlas estallar. El remoto avanzó entonces, haciendo detonar dos de ellas, pero pudo activar su sensor antes de quedar inutilizado. Esto reveló la presencia de un SAS en las cercanías, que posteriormente recibió la atención de la ametralladora multi del Maghariba. El "Guardián del Harén" se dirigió después hacia el tech coffin central, colocándose en fuego de supresión y listo para aguantar el contraataque ariadno.

The Maghariba came out from behind a pavilion and opened fire on Vassily, knocking him down easily. Somewhere further to his right, its electronic devices had indicated the possible presence of enemy mines along with camouflaged enemies. El contraataque vino, de nuevo, en forma de enemigos camuflados. Una sombra fue situándose poco a poco cerca del Escorpión de Arena, y cuando se encontraba a pocos metros, se reveló como Pavel McMannus, quien cargó contra el TAG. La sorpresa del ataque le permitió dañar varias de las partes de la estructura más expuestas, dejándolo bastante perjudicado. Sin embargo, la piloto reaccionó rápidamente, y un lanzallamas pesado neutralizó al guerrero suicida. Mientras trataba de minimizar los daños sufridos y avisaba al ingeniero de campo de su situación, una nueva amenaza apareció en lo alto de otro pabellón: un tankhunter armado con un cañón automático. La piloto del Maghariba disparó apresuradamente pero sin éxito. Sin embargo, todos los soldados haqqislamitas pudieron comprobar en ese momento la sabiduría que manifestó el Profeta - la paz sea con él – cuando previno a los fieles contra las bebidas espirituosas. El cosaco, quien sin duda estaba bajo los efectos del pernicioso vodka, hizo hasta cuatro disparos, pero todos los dirigió contra el “segundo” Maghariba que parecía estar viendo. Antes de que se decidiera a disparar al correcto, el TAG consiguió acertarle con su ametralladora, acabando así con su vida de adicción alcohólica.

The counterattack came, again, in the form of camouflaged enemies. A shadow was gradually moving closer to the Sand Scorpion, and when it was a few meters away, it was revealed as Pavel McMannus, who charged against the TAG. The surprise of the attack allowed him to damage several of the most exposed parts of its structure, leaving it quite damaged. However, the pilot reacted quickly, and a heavy flamethrower neutralized the suicide warrior. While trying to minimize the damage suffered and alerting the field engineer of her situation, a new threat appeared at the top of another pavilion: a tankhunter armed with a portable autocannon. The Maghariba pilot fired hurriedly but without success. However, all the Haqqislamite soldiers could verify at that moment the wisdom that the Prophet - peace be upon him - manifested when he warned the faithful against spirits. The Cossack, who was undoubtedly under the influence of pernicious vodka, made up to four shots, but all directed against a "second" Maghariba he seemed to be seeing. Before he decided to shoot the right one, the TAG managed to hit him with his machine gun, ending his life of alcohol addiction.

En el otro flanco, el Spetsnaz volvió a aparecer del pabellón en el que se había escondido, disparando tanto al Fasid como a los dos jenízaros Hortlak, quienes se habían situado tras cobertura. Tras un tiroteo intenso, nadie sufrió heridas, y el soldado ariadno volvió a su escondite.

On the other flank, the Spetsnaz reappeared from the pavilion in which he was hidding, shooting both the Fasid and the two Hortlak Janissaries, who had been placed behind cover. After an intense shooting, no one was injured, and the Ariadna soldier returned to his hiding place.

Aprovechando la situación, un jenízaro salió de la cobertura con intención de detectar a cuanto enemigo camuflado hubiera en sus alrededores. Su visor descubrió a un strelok cercano, aunque también detectó unas sombras misteriosas algo más adelante. Por ello, pidió asistencia al Escorpión de Arena, quien instantes después colocaba una mina junto al cosaco pero de manera que también afectara a lo que podía ser otro enemigo oculto. La mina antipersona estalló en cuanto el strelok se movió intentando esquivar (infructosamente) los disparos del Hortlak, y un chasseur abandonó su escondite también como consecuencia de la mina. El subfusil del Hortlak acabó igualmente con él.

Taking advantage of the situation, a Janissarie left the coverage with intention to discover all the camouflaged enemies of the surroundings. His visor discovered a nearby Strelok, although he also detected mysterious shadows somewhere further. Therefore, he requested assistance from the Sand Scorpion, who moments later placed a mine next to the Cossack but so that it also affected what could be another hidden enemy. The antipersonnel mine triggered as soon as the Strelok tried (unsuccessfully) to dodge the shots of the Hortlak, and a Chasseur left his hiding place also as a result of that mine. The submachine gun of the Hortlak also finished him off.

Tras ello, el jenízaro se dirigió al pabellón que tenía como objetivo. Tras la puerta se encontró con el spetsnaz que antes había abierto fuego y con el oficial al mando de los ariadnos, un Veteran Kazak con ametralladora. Ambos intentaron evitar su destino, pero la pistola viral del Hortlak acabó con ellos sin problemas. Por último, el que se había convertido en un emisario de la muerte, se aproximó a un civil que había en las inmediaciones, asegurándolo, mientras el Maghariba tomaba control del tech coffin.

After that, the Janissarie went to the pavilion he had as target. Behind the door he found the Spetsnaz that had previously opened fire and the Ariadnan commanding officer, a Veteran Kazak armed with a heavy machine gun. Both tried to avoid their fate, but the Hortlak's viral pistol killed them without problems. Finally, the one who had become an emissary of death approached a civilian in the immediate vicinity, securing him while the Maghariba took control of the tech coffin.

Para aquel entonces sólo quedaba un soldado ariadno en el almacén, que sin oficial ni compañeros, se batió en retirada.

By that moment there was only one Ariadnan soldier in the warehouse, who without an officer or companions, beat in retreat.
