SWEET REVENGE!

After the thorough and frankly quite brutal beating I suffered at SpearHavok's hands in our previous game, I did a quick re-write to account for the lack of dense terrain I could use to protect my precious, delicate ARM 1 babies. So I slapped a Maghariba Guard on the table and went a-shootin'.

I went first again, because I've been finding that in our local meta going first is very, very useful – we all tend towards single combat groups of elite troops, so being able to take out even a handful in the first turn can be a devastating loss in orders. So, my Maghariba Guard walked in a straight line and shot everything to death. I had to put entirely too many orders in to an exchange of gunfire with his Ratjack (or Blackjack? Whatever it was, I hate it) but I was eventually able to take it down. The Maghariba Guard also, eventually, butchered a Dog Warrior and a few revealed camo troopers.

Things got slightly dicey when a real monster of a parachutist was able to land and consume all of SpearHavok's orders and just punched a whole through my Khawarij and Naffatun with his boarding shotgun. This took out my Naffatun LT as well, but these days I always take something with Chain of Command because LoL sucks and I refuse to suffer from it. Fortunately this was too late in the game to make much difference, and I won with a clear lead.
