Tarik Mansuri rounded the corner and beheld the mechanical atrocity that towered over him. ALEPH chose its name well – a storm deity to some, a fallen angel, cursed in the sight of Allah, to others.
A lesser person would have paused and considered whether they could harm such a being. A lesser person would have waited for orders, or called in backup. But Tarik Mansuri was greater than that – he was the destructor, one who smashes to bits. So when he beheld the towering silver-blue creature, he simply raised his gun and smote it.

For a game in which Shamash was nearly entirely shot off the board, it was a tight one.
In round one Shamash started strong, claiming multiple objectives off the bat. I started stronger, felling his Marut Lieutenant with a stunning triple-crit from Tarik Mansuri. I was able to squeak ahead in points.
Round two started with Shamash still scoring points despite being in rough shape from Loss of Lieutenant. I was able to eke out one single point ahead of Shamash, though.
Round three started with Achilles Leeroy Jenkins-ing his way thhrough a pair of landmines, a hail of Khawarij gunfire, a desperate pistol shot from a Tuareg, and a point-blank shotgun blast from a second Tuareg, and butched the Tuareg Hacker, scoring Shamash another point. He again pulled ahead of me in points. But, on m turn was I was able to squeak ahead of him once more time, securing me a 9 – 8 victory.
This is the kind of thing I really enjoy about TACOS games. Remaining points would imply a much more lopsided game, but the actual objective points were incredibly close.
I’m still waiting for my triple crit moment, so congratulations on yours. Always good to win the close ones. I agree with Danger Rose – rule of cool before anything else.
You know that you had this “once in a lifetime” moment here? 😀
Great work!
Well structured relationship. Congratulations.
just realized you got 26 games in! Thanks for your effort commander
Rule of Cool before everything else. Also, first time I see Fat Lv2 detractors’ fears manifest. This does not help my argument in its defense.
Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Whoa. That’s a lot of cards.
