"All right men, you heard High Command. We know Haqq is up to something at the Hangars, maybe even conspiring with the EI itself. We've been tasked with a three-stage plan to hold and investigate the Hangars as part of Operation: Highlander Charge. This three-stage plan has been deemed Operation: Autumnfall. As such, we are initiating stage one, which we've deemed Operation: Hammurabi. Our objective: Eliminate all hostiles in operation zone."

Mission: Annihilation

"Lead, Eagle One. In position; sighted a TR bot. Engaging."
*Gunfire*
"Target down."
"Lead, Big Gun here. There's a repair bot present...target eliminated. No way they're repairing their reaction remote now."

"Llead, kelpie. Comm is pickin' up a lot o' chatter from the Su Jian; A think it's their datatracker! Movin' tae engage."
*Gunfire, then a fwoosh*
"Lead. Wild Bill here. Kelpie is crispier than than deep fried bacon, but she put a good number of holes in that mechanical cat-man. One more hit ought to put it down for good. Think I saw a second pal bot over yonder though."

"Big Gun here. Took some hits, but armor blocked it all. Moving to better cover."

"Alright team. Looks like they're taking defensive positions. Get ready to move up!"

Ariadna won the roll-off, and elected to go first. Armand spent a couple of orders to wound the TR bot, after which the Marauder put a wound on the repair bot adjacent to it, preventing future repair. Uxia went next to try and eliminate the Su Jian datatracker. She put three wounds on it, but died in the process from its light flamer. Meanwhile, it went No Wound Incap. With a repair bot nearby, a chasseur moved forward, and eventually eliminated the Sophotect, precluding repair.

On ISS's turn, the Kuang Shi ran forward, and eventually overran the overextended chasseur. The celestial guard provided some smoke cover for the Rui Shi, while a hacker gave it Marksmanship L2. The Rui Shi engaged Armand, critting him in the first volley, and dealing a second wound in the second. A round of fire at the Marauder landed four hits, but the Marauder made all 4 saves, and crawled into better cover. On his last order, a number of ISS troops went into suppressive fire.

Turn 2
"Lead, this is Reaper. Targeting enemy remote..."
*Gunfire*
"Remote down. Firing at Su Jian...damn, no damage, and he's backed off."
"Roger that. Van Zant, if you would?"

"Van Zant here. Landing zone is hot. Moving to-hrrck!"
"Van Zant!"
"Here. Hacker nailed me. Moving to eliminate Su Jian."
*Extensive gunfire*
"Van Zant here. Hacker and Su Jian...down. Going...to take...a nap now."
"Van Zant! Van Zant!"

"Team, Reaper here. I tagged a runner. Be advised, Kuang Shi are on the move, repeat, Kuang Shi are on the move!"
"Roger Reaper."

"Team, heads-up: They're smoking again, be aware of the last remote."
"Roger. Keeping an eye out for-"
*Gunfire*
"Reaper. Reaper!"
"Reaper here. Fire a snapshot into the smoke; it's quiet now. Anyone getting movement?"
"Negative. Think you downed it Reaper! First round is on me tonight!"

"Damn they're tough! They walked off that mine like it was nothing! Careful, we might be dealing with a new breed of Kuang Shi!"

"Team, Reaper. Just nailed a Celestial Guard climbing the fence. Brace yourselves, they're getting to rush us!"

"Reaper, need a hand over here. Biggun' has me pinned down. Almost pegged me; just barely dodged out of the way. He's movin' in; mind takin' him out fer us?"

"Alricht, ye big bastard. This is for Kelpie! Dee!"

"Bill, Reaper. Hsien is finally down; looks like Reiver and I were able to put him down. Reiver, report in. Reiver? Reiver!"
"Think he's gone, Reaper. It's just us and them Kweng Shee over yonder. Best secure the area 'til reinforcements arrive."

On the second turn, the Spetsnaz opened fire on the Rui Shi, dealing a wound to it with a surprise attack. The next order was spent attacking the Su Jian, but it managed to avoid damage, and ducked into full cover. Van Zant dropped in to eliminate the datatracker, taking a critical hit from the Celestial Guard hacker watching the back ranks. The rest of my turn was spent trying to eliminate the Su Jian, which finally fell to Van Zant's attack. The hacker was also downed at this time.

On ISS's turn, the Kuang Shi moved up, one of which was sniped by the Spetsnaz. The Ariadna flank came under fire from a fireteam of two Kuang Shi and a celestial guard, with the Kuang Shi tanking a mine hit each. The defenders of Dawn were unable to repeatedly dodge the chain rifle shots, with Vassily and the Marauder each taking a wound, both going dogged. Vassily tried to put a wound on a Kuang Shi, only for it to make its armor roll. On the other flank, the Hsien moved up, and failed to discover the chasseur and mine. One of the celestial guards hopped the fence and successfully uncovered the chasseur, but took a direct hit from the Spetsnaz and died before he hit the ground. The Hsien advanced, destroying the chasseur and tanking a mine hit. On the last order of the game, both the S.A.S. and Spetsnaz landed hits with chain rifle and HMG respectively, leaving the Hsien unconscious. This came at the cost of the S.A.S. taking an unopposed hit from the Hsien's MULTI rifle, who promptly failed his save.

At this point, time ran out in the tournament round, making it a 6-3 Ariadna victory!
