Mission: Annihilation in The Gorge. Nomads vs Military orders

A handy victory for MO comprising mostly of superior firepower and shear blind luck. First turn consisted of MO moving up the board to take some high ground and tossing some drop bears near a prone camo marker, Trying everything in their power to shut down any incoming dirty nomad shenanigans. The HMGs managed to pick off a couple of robots.

Nomads responded by using Eclipse grenades to get some dirty mutants up the board while an intruder made a mess of poor Konstantinos’s face with a well placed sniper round. He went down himself when the Black Friar enraged attempted some vengeance but a Dak was on hand to patch the Intuder straight back up. Should have fired that Shock ammo.

On the other side of the board the Harris of Knights was getting into position to engage the dirty mutant abominations known as the uberfallkommando a Knight with a boarding shotgun leaped round a packing crate and with righteous fury gunned down the Chimera and a few of her pets but was killed in the process. His heroic sacrifice in the name of his God allowed the rest of the MO to move around without threat of horrible maulings.

Nomad turn two is where lady luck took a firm hold of the game Tim’s Kriza made its move to take out my Sierra and with full auto was on the odds to turn it to a heap of scrap metal. The dice landed two crits for the plucky little robot with Assisted fire granting shock the Kriza was put down for the count.

After Tims intruder lost a face to face he really should have won with the black friar getting torn apart by a hail of multi-rifle ammo he conceded rather than playing out a turn walking at the knights with the Alguacil.

The Dice gods where more in charge here than anything else. Hell Id have considered it a win if Id died killing the furry’s. Oh well Deus Vult!
