After we drove away some of the Aleph puppets their toxic plastic fumes still hang in the air. So we had to play a game of Biotechvore while trying to get rid of the Aleph stench.
PanO won Lieutenant Roll and chose 1st Turn, so Nomads chose Deployment
Board:
PanO won Lieutenant Roll and chose 1st Turn, so Nomads chose Deployment.
Morlock Harley rolled NWI and Morlock Joker Arm+1, which would be more usefull than expected. Both Zeros and the Black Friar passed their Deployment Rolls.
Deployment:
First the HMG Hospitaller shot at the Missile Launcher Grrl, deals one Wound and receives one Wound from the Total Reaction Bot in return.
With the second shootout the Grrl scored a Crit and killed the Knight.
Now what PanO should have done from the beginning: PanO formed a new Core around the Order Sergeants and moves this one, till the Rocket Launcher Order Sergeant could see the Spitfire Grrl. With one rocket, the Spitfire Grrl, the Missile Launcher Grrl and the Zondbot were dead.
Now already most of the SWC weapons were gone. The Morlocks rush forward, Harley throws Smoke.
The BSG Zero first places a mine before starting his attack on the HRL Order Sergeant, because most likely he would only get one chance and so he wanted to raise the chances:
Now the AHD Zero wanted to isolate deFersen, beause Nomads assumed he would be the Lieutenant. But deFersen killed the Zero despite the Surpise hack.
Afterwards Nomads were only moving to get rid of the stench, using coordinated orders. The Moderator Lieutenant survived two AROs. Apart from that only one further action was worth mentioning: The Moderator with the Pitcher shoots one repeater inside the middle building, just because he can. He tries this a second time but this time he failed.
Result: The SpecOp survived thanks to his BTS and the Transductor passed both BTS rolls (heroic tiger). So no losses despite the Aleph fug.
Nomads End of Turn 1:
First the heavily armed SpecOp tried to clear the group around the remaining Zero.
His first victim was the Pitcher Moderator, who was killed with the Spitfire, Morlock Joker survived thanks to ARM+1.
Next the SpecOp placed himself in front of the Zero and blasted the whole group using his BSG.
Result: Zero dead, Daktari dead, Zondbot dead, SpecOp himself was dead as well, because against all odds, the Moderator Lieutenant survived.
Now a wild hacking war started:
PanO felt threatened by the repeater and the high BTS SpecOp Hacker. So the Santiago KHD moved. Morlock Harley failed her Smoke Dodge (luckily, how it should turn out) and the Moderator next to her inflicts one Wound on the Santiago. The Santiago himself failed against the SpecOp.
Next try, this time both Harley and the Moderator shot at the Knight because they expected a hacking attempt. They were right. This time the Nomad Hacker scored a Crit, sending the Santiago unconscious. The Hospitaller Doc tried to heal him but failed, so he was dead.
Now deFersen tries his luck. He gets a Wound from the Moderator, but can neutralise the Hacker. He dodged in cover using his Guts roll.
Afterwards only some positioning happend.
Funnily if PanO would have ignored the Knights and the Repeater, the Repeater would have pinned the Grrls in place as well, because PanO would have gotten two Hacking AROs each time the Grrls moved.
First the Morlocks Harley and Joker rush forward. Joker failed all Smoke Dodges, but passed all Armor Saves, again only because of ARM+1.
Now Harley moves forward, throws Smoke and drops deFersen using Intuitive Attack with her Chain Rifle.
With all hackers down, the remaining Grrls move forward to dispose the remaining Knights using the BSG. After two shootouts, nothing had happened.
On the other side of the board, Joker went forward, under fire, passing all Dodges and so was able to lay his Chain Rifle over the Order Sergeant, Konstantinos and the Black Friar. Only the Black Friar survived.
