Instead of some wild hacking duels, we deceided it comes to down to some game of Tic Tac Toe.
PanO won the lieutenant roll and chose second turn because of tactical advantages. Nomads chose deployment and let PanO deploy first.
Board:
First the Prowler shock trooper went for the Bulleteer and scored a hit, but as usual PanO saved the armor roll and the Bulleteer went for cover.
The next salvo was aimed at the Fugazi. Again one hit was scored and again PanO saved the armor roll and the remote went for cover.
Another order, another salvo, this time for Techbee and finaly no unrealistic armor saves from PanO side and she went unconscious
Next the Prowler went another time for the Fugazi and finally shot it unconscious.
Now Jaguar Harley went forward and threw smoke. The Intruder used the smoke screen to shot the Krakot and killed him.
Now the Hellcat landed behind the Regular (in the only blind spot of every single PanO-Trooper, just as large as his base), who failed his change facing roll.
Then the Hellcat Killing Spree started: First the Hellcat shot and killed the Regular.
Next was the Evo Hacker who went unconscious as well. Following was the Pathfinder Remote, which went down too. Then the Hellcat shot at the Fugazi, but the Bot saved its armor roll.
Then both Intruder and Prowler went in cover using a coordinated order.
With the next coordinated order both recamo'd.
With the last order the Hellcat shot the Fugazi unconscious, instead of using the order to save Jaguar Harley.
Devastating Turn, with 7 Troopers shot dead. The new AD-Troopers are really nasty. I'm wondering why this wasn't changed back with ITS 11.
PanO tried at least this turn and the Kamau went down the stairs to shoot the Hellcat, which was killed by two hit.
Next the Akalis landed next to the Transductor and attacked it. The Flash-Pulse-Bot alerted.
Akalis shot the bot unconscious but in return got fried by the Evo Hacker and went unconscious.
After this loss, PanO surrendered.
A quick and dirty victory, which shows, how nasty AD-Troopers are under ITS 10 and 11.
Brutal. I really wished they didnt keep the AD rule from ITS 10 for this reason but hey, its effective.
Nice win!
I love Hellcats)) Good rep/
Nah, they are far too good. I used them through whole ITS 10, the Hellcat BSG is an autotake. Only one time the Hellcat failed, all the other games it did its job and won me several games. I played one game with StarCo and StarCo is even better with AD Trooper than Nomads, so I took both the Hellcat BSG and Raoul. Devastating. Maybe its my Meta where I play mostly against Limited Insertion, but I would have changed it back. Its almost impossible to defend against AD Trooper now.
It makes some units like Puppetmaster plus Bots highly risky cause you have to defend the Puppetmaster …
We’ll houserule a -3 when using the new rule and the normal roll when using the template. So you have both options and AD Trooper are somewhat nerfed.
Actually i like how AD troops work in ITS 10 and post.
They are still pretty risky, and teach us to deploy well 🙂 not everything are link teams!
Good win and a good report, well done 🙂
” ‘Now the Hellcat landed behind the Regular (in the only blind spot of every single PanO-Trooper, just as large as his base)’ YES! This is what all Hellcats live for!”
And what mine usually die trying for 😛

Great job, commander!
