Asteroid Blues

It was a massacre I tell you! They knew we were coming! Those Haqq bastards surprised us and killed all but me. I barely made it out. We had good positions against normal people but these mutant freaks jumping all over looking though smoke just gunned us all down!

We took the antennas as per orders and coming up on the tech coffin but then we were overwhelmed! Lobber tried throwing some E/M on these guys but they kept dodgeing them. Icluding an Al Faseed! Team Beta moved up with some heavy weapons and our HMG was able to take out the Al Faseed but got blinded by a flash bot along the way.

Team alpha’s big guns were taken out. the Brawler Snappy the Sniper and Marksman Rifle, Get Bent. Unfortunately the Al Faseed wasn’t totally out. The damnable doctor of theirs brought him back and lit up the HMG with a rocket. I then joined the team to move up and try to defend our antenna.

We tried moving up to hold the objectives but it was just too much for us. Our Assault hacker took other antenna and parmedic took the tech coffin but they were quickly killed by spitfire wielding jumping demon. Our Lt. was killed by a Rafiq that came around a corner. The Al Fasid got the third member of my team.

Our specialist in camo tried to take out the bastards that moved up to take the coffin but it was too much to handle by that point and lost her life for it. I tried to move and take out the demon but was ineffective. By that point it was just me and I ran the hell out of there!

So this was my first time playing Druze. It did not go well to say the least. My list could have been better but I didn’t know what we were playing before we got together. It was pretty cool the Druze could deploy up to 20” on the table but I think it may have been to my dis-advantage.

Can i just say, I HATE Fatality Level 2!? Especially on a burst 4-5 weapon! There done. No more.
