Determined to preemptively blunt Nomad ambitions on Novy Bangkok Aspect Designation Shnuggles initiates Project Rakshasa to put the nomad rabble on the back foot. After spreading false intel that a plan to strike the Arachne Node was underway, a smaller clandestine force departed to secure infowar superiority at the Cosmika HQ.

Winning the initial strategic face off, deployment was secured. Nomad forces deployed along the engagement field, with the powerful Kriza in the center along the shipping containers. The remaining forces were spread out, and an intruder took up residence in a nearby 2nd story garage with a field of vision across an oblique angle of the battlefield. Seeing the nomad deployment, the aspect saw they had erred in allowing the construction of a strongpoint within the warehouse building of the aleph left flank. The dakini fireteam set up with a superior firing position covering the Kriza, and layered ARO with a lamedh bot along with the linked Sniper. The remaining link team secured the flank, while the Proxy Mark 2 deployed hidden on the far right in support of the Proxy mark V serving as the liaison officer.

Seeing the Kriza in a rough position, the Nomad player began with their customary bravado and engaged in an immediate firefight, heedless of the danger of it faced. Splitting fire among multiple targets, the Kriza suffered an immediate wound at the hands of the Dakini sniper, and adding insult to injury the Lamedh managed to blind the Kriza’s advanced sensors with a critical burst of light. Immediately regretting his choices the Kriza fell back behind cover to lick his wounds and an alternate plan was formulated. Nomad forces pushed up cautiously, approaching the antennas while staying low to avoid incoming fire. The Custodier fired a pitcher to prevent the Dakini team from advancing easily up the nomad flank, and then activated the nearest antenna for her side. The rest of the nomad forces took up defensive positions and awaited the Aleph counterattack.

The Aspect command paused to calculate his resources and within microseconds decided the appropriate course. He would choose violence. Activating the Dakini link team, they shuffled along the building until the sniper could draw the thinnest sliver of sight to the wounded Kriza. With the aid of the full link team, and Apsara support the Kriza was rendered unconscious. Seeing the morale of the Nomad forces begin to falter, the Proxy Mark V pushed up, securing the right most antennas along the way near the Aleph deployment, and then in the center of the battlefield. Spotting a chance to severely degrade the enemy forces the Proxy engaged the Custodier with his twin SMGs. An initial round of shooting favored the ODD of the nomad, however a second volley of shock smg rounds critically found a gap in her defenses. Her immediate death crushed Nomad resolved and would lead to a loss of lieutenant.

With both morale and material suffering massive blows, the nomad commander had few options. Desperate for orders the tomcat arrived on the far right flank of the aleph side, which was seemingly free of forces. Hungry for vengeance, and unbowed due to his veteran training, the lone securitate crawled along the warehouse nearest the Proxy Mark V until he was securely behind him. Leaning out and firing with his boarding shotgun, the Proxy was obliterated in a small measure of revenge for the dead Custodier.

Suffering minimal losses from the disorganized Nomad response, the Aleph forces set to secure the field and complete their victory conditions. After biding his time the hidden Proxy Mark 2 revealed and surprised the Tomcat that had just appeared. Miraculously the air trooper dodged at a critical point and survived. Demonstrating cold machine like determination, the proxy didnt let up and with a second salvo removed the Tomcat. Aleph forces continued to move up, first removing the securitate that cowardly shot a Proxy body in the back, and then securing additional antennas along the field. The deva utilized her Multispectral visor to flush out the camouflaged zero and annihilated him in sustained fire from her Spitfire. The remaining orders were used to adopt defensive positions and await the final gasps of the nomad forces.

With only two troopers remaining the Nomad forces could only attempt a single classified objective which failed, before admitting defeat. In the final movements of the mission Aleph forces completed their required classifieds. However the Nomad player had one final trick, after the mission the surviving Alguacil managed to file a report as a liaison officer, making sure that there would be a record of this brazen unsanctioned AI offensive.
