A trio of transport vessels sped through the darkness of the tunnels near the spaceport, triangulated millimeter-wave RADAR allowing them to swing around obstacles with deft precision. At the edges of the ruined and abandoned buildings near the spaceport's more disused side, they spun around and came to a swift halt. On one, the doors open, and a handful of heavily-armed people dashed out toward cover; on a second, remote drones unfolded, bristling with guns and sensing equipment; the third split open wide to allow the immensity of a Marut to stride forward across the stone.
'Time to make some noise!' Shakti chirped into the team Maya-link. 'A little havoc out here should draw out some of their people and maybe take a little pressure off the Ariadnans...' The telemetry from hijacked communication equipment and aerial drones began to flow into her. A few red icons appeared, marking out the defenders... Then a few more. Then more. '... Some of their people. Got that done, at least...'

A persistent issue I've had is the lack of toy soldiers I have on the board in any given game - losing a single model is just too devastating. So I drew up a vanilla list that's almost nothing but bodies - a couple of heavy hitters and then buckets of models. Surely the extra coverage would give me a leg up, right? Right?
