'Everyone's dead, Shakti,' a very unimpressed-looking Damayanti said. He jerked his thumb over his shoulder to where a few Khawarij, clustered around a console, were acting an awful lot less belligerent and more smugly satisfied. 'Everyone's dead and they got what we were both here for. Not much reason to stick around.'

Hooboy. Someday - someday! - I'm going to learn that an effective three wounds and high Armour does not necessarily make a unit all that resilient. But it is not this day!

The Mukhtar team took up most of thepoorman's orders here. They moved up to grab the Crate for a TACOS card, and then started meandering over to where my own Lieutenant was lurking. An Asura with L2, a Multi Rifle, and all that armour shoulda been fine, right?

In Loss of Lieutenant, I had little I could do - the new card spread highly favoured thepoorman, and my Asura fireteam could not shoot worth -anything.- So back to the Mukhtars! They barged through the door and laid down gunfire and Nanopulsers on the fireteam. The Deva Hacker was unscathed, and the Asura dodged into melee. This would later prove to be very bad for their health.

Feeling a bit more confident, the Khawarij moved up to take the Console, but their team leader promptly caught a bullet.
