Asteroid Blues

Sorry in advance for unpainted Thorakites.

Traces of shasvastii agents presence have been spotted on Aleph base.

An operative group commanded by a Myrmidon Officer Machaon was assembled and dispatched with the task of protecting the communications network from shasvastii agents.

Course of action

1st turn — Aleph
Asura datatracker takes on a special mission to eliminate a civilian recruited by shasvastii. She triggers a mine placed by Speculo Killer and loses a wound.
Then she approaches the designated target. Haiduk Sniper shoots at her, then Malignos appears from the Hidden Deployment and sets monofilament mines. Asura shots down the Haiduk and during the next Order she eliminates both civilian and Malignos and successfully avoids damage from the mine.

Then Machaon, Thorakites and Proxy Engineer attempt to take control over antennas in my half of the table. Everyone except for Thorakites succeed.
Then Dasyu FO appears from Hidden Deployment and also takes control over two antennas in the center of the table.

1st turn — Shasvastii
Speculo closes in for a fight with Azura, but she successfully passes saving throws from monifilament during 4 Orders until Speculo finally scores a Crit.

While Speculo was closing in, Proxy 2 appeared from Hidden Deployment and Naga Minelayer appeared from Camo Marker in order to Discover Speculo during ARO.
Then Noctifer appears from Hidden Deployment but Proxy 2 scores a Crit with a sniper rifle during ARO and shots him down.
Sheskin attacks, kills Proxy 2 with a Crit but gets stunned by Proxy 5.
Speculo turns back into a Camo marker.

2nd turn — Aleph
The turn is spent to take control over 2 antennas on the enemy’s half of the table and to destroy 2 antennas on my half (this is done by Machaon and Proxy 1 Engineer).
Also, Proxy 5 attacks Sheskin but gets killed with a Crit.

2nd turn — Shasvastii
Sheskin datatracker manages to break through and kill its designated target, then kills Naga Minelayer. Shrouded killer-hacker slays Dasyu FO. Obsidon Mechanoid takes control over one of the antennas.

3rd turn — Aleph
The turn is spent on a stupid attempt to kill the Engineer with Proxy 1, but it gets shot down from SMG.
During remaining Orders, Machaon tries to destroy the third antenna, but unsuccessfully.

3rd turn — Shasvastii
The enemy gains control over two more antennas, and Sheskin destroys them.
During the last Order, Obsidon Mechanoid shoots the last antenna attempting to gain a draw, but I successfully pass all saving rolls for it.

End of battle. I win a minor victory with the final score 9:6
With big casualties Aleph operation group stops shasvastii agents in their attempt to destroy communications network, but cadmus-agent Sheskin, was successfully live the battlefield, and i guess we will see her soon
