Game vs JSA

Theatre:XARAKS BATTERY – Battery Field

Mission: Acquisition

My adversary won the lieutnant-roll and choses side. So i will to go first.

The Plan: very deep deploymentzone… first turn … close Combat-fanatics all around you … So, we had to storm the enemy lines an shot them before they engage us in close Combat… 🙂

The TAK-Army:

Group 1: LineKazak-Core-Link (ML, Paramedic, Rifle, Frontovik Sniper MSV1, Veteran-Kazak AP-HMG), Linekazak LT., Spetsnaz HMG, Scout FO, Streklok K9, Strelok FO

Group 2: 2 Irmandinos chainrifle, 112 Dr Fireaxe, Spetsnaz Parachutist Bording Shotgun, Warcore

The JSA-Army: (as I remember)

Core-Link (4 Keisotsu + Kampei CoC Boarding Shotgun), Shikami Contender, Ninja Killerhacker Tactical Bow, Pangguling EVo-REM, Husong Total-REaction-REM HMG, JSA-Engeneer + 2 Servant-Bots, Rui Shi Spitfire MSV2, Yojimbo, Shinobu Kitsune, Warcore

As the Mission Objektives got this new Liaison-Officer-Rule and my opponent had a lack of an FO, we decided skip this rule in oder to keep it fair. We chose two classifieds instead.

The Table was not very open .. a lot of cover and sightblocking terrain .. a tall Bridge connected both deployment-zones on the left .. in the middle were some even buildings … The right side was dominated by two tall buildings .. a couple of plants were randomly distributed which we played as a Saturation Zone ..

JSA fielded it´s army on the side with the higher Buildings … occupied the Bridge with the core-link and covered the middle with the total-reaction-Drone on an smaller building… Shikami and Yojimbo and his crazy coalas waited on the right in total cover for their grand entrance..

One TO-Camo close to the right antenna… no Ninjas, because it is said Ninjas don´t exist 😉 …

TAK put the whole strength of the Core-Link on the right, moving up as far as possible … sniper on the roof aiming at the TR-REM… the FO Strelok close to the left antenna, K9 Strelok waiting somewhere the middle in full cover … FO Scout should go for the right antenna..

The irmandinhos were distributed on the outer flanks, avoiding TR-fire… 112 and Kazak-Lt. covers the deeper back of the deployment-zone … Spetsnaz HMG kept in the back as a resereve…

At the beginning of the game, JSA declared that his evo-REM set assistant-fire on his TR-RM by spending a command Token..

TAK 1st Turn

Impetuous-Phase… Both Irmandinhos heading forward. On the Left he could go his whole movement without being shot at.. The right one had to stop beause of the TO-Camo-Marker.. In his own irregular-Order he moved to the corner and failed to discover it ..

Group two, regular Order, Irmandinho declares “discover and…” and what a surprise, a Ninja, this Killerhacker-dude, revealed and for an engage… Just watch on the Photo the visual judgement of my adversary – WOW …

Ok.. befor doing anything we have get rid with this TR-REM… First Group, First Order, Frontovik Sniper shots and because of it´s Mimetism the REM failed and it was gone … i think this shot was not too risky because there were four dice on a 11 vs my three on a 15 …

First Group, secound Oder… The Vet-Kazak snarled addressed to the irmandiho: “Don´t move!”.. firing his Heavy Pistol into the closeCombat.. HEADSHOT!! and the Ninja fell to the ground, instantly dead .. Wy does this Ninja-guys always show up with a sword when it comes to a gunfight?

A good start so far … a few Orders for Movement for the 4-men-Link-team, crossing the whole map .. I had to leave the Sniper on the rooftop. I didn´t regroup to get the Lt. in because this could be a suicide mission…

Shoting the crazy coala from a secure distance and the way is free … Let´s do some shooting work… Vet-Kazak open fire on Yojimbo and Yojimbo died… Move on farther to take a sightline to the shikami … but much too close for the HMG… fireing with the heavy Pistol, but the shikami suceeded deploying a Nimbus granate…

one more try with the pistol… hitting him but his armor kept him save… short on orders now… the Link-Team got into it´s final position.. Now there are two ARO-Pieces, Kazak-ML and the Vet-Kazak HMG, covering his deployment-zone..

But, there is one final thing to do for Group 1 .. a last shot on the shikami and the evo-REM… The shikami survived the shot but the REM fell unconscious.. WOW, this shikami is a tough one … never expected that …

Group two still got two irregular orders … Left irmandinho went for the antenna… and failed his WIP-Roll … last oder tranfered with an command token and the first point is scored …

JSa 1st Turn

In my deployment-zone appears Shinobu Kitsune… and i began to feel uncomfortable … 112 was killed in Close Combat, in the cover of a smoke granate Kitsune climbed on the rooftop, going for the Frontovik-sniper. Both, The Frontovik and the FO-Scout, who had line of sight as the Ninja leaving the smoke, failed their ARO and the sniper died in his Blood…

The gunfight between Kitsune and the Scout unfortunately Kitsune won. Curse you TO-Camo.

Meanwhile in the JSA-deployment-zone… Servant moved to repair the TR-REM… AROs form Vet-Kazak, ML-Lazak and the Worcore. And here I made a great mistake. I forgot the Burst2 for the Link-Bonus. Only the Vet-Kazak succeeded in his shot, but this iron-fellow withstand the damage… And so the REM was reactivated an killed subsequent the Vet-Kazak.

The ML-Kazak died as well as the Shikami fired his Assault-Pistol at him. In the last two Orders the irmandinho on the right, failing his dodge and fell unconscious, That was hard to take, but it was as it was.. and we are not finished yet and we scored 1 point …

TAK 2nd Turn

Impetuous-Phase… the last Irmandinho moved and smoke-dodged the ARO from the TR-REM…

OK then… changing of Plans… Parachutist-Spetsnaz enters the table on the left …
But before he startet his bloody job, the Irmandiniho went for another point by fullfilling a cassfied (Some WIP-Roll in contact with the HVT)…
Now Spetsnaz moved and killed the warcore… moved closer to the Keisutso core-Link… moved and the first keisutso died… moved again and the Rui Shi was gone…
moved and shoot – second keisutso dead… one order left… the spetsnaz fired once more to the Rui Shi to destroy it completely and pressed himself in a corner so no one could attack him from behind.
After this action, the Spetsnaz earned his new Codename: Uncle Fester – I´ll shoot em in the back … Thogh, that sound not very russian, but it fits perfectly 😉

JSA 2nd Turn
seven Orders left… Kampei did a leanout fo a shot to the spetsnaz, but the spetsnaz blew him with a crit away… shikami came to finish off the rest of the Kazak Link …
After a successfull dodge only one died by the sword of the shikami… the rest of the oders were used fulfilling his classifieds, one WIP-Roll-thing and Predator, which gives him even two Viktory-Points…

TAK 3rd Turn

OK … let´s score some points…
Impetuous-Phase… irmandinho moves and dodges the ARO from the TR-REM again..
HMG Spetsnaz activated… moves in line of sight to the TR-REM… Surpriseshot, Mimetism + Cover was just Superior and the it was down again…
Now, Strelok FO moved to a building in the enemys half and did another Classified … Then he went to conrol the Tech coffin in the Middle… The same for the K9 Strelok .. Both the Strelok an Wolf supported to controll the Tech Coffin…
One last thing to do with the irmandinho… he climbed on the rooftop to the unconscious TR-REM just in case it would be reactivated…

JSA 3rd Turn

Not many Orders left… Shikami darted to the right antenna … one the way killed the last Line-Kazak of the former Core-Link …. Reached the Antenna with the last order, but failed the WIP-Roll … I had some Free Shots with the Streloks, but because of the distance and ODD all of them missed…
and so it ended up… with a win for Ariadna

JSA had two classifieds for -three points-, TAK had two classified -one point each-, one activated antenna -one Point- and controlled the TechCoffin at the end of the game, -three points-

Finally I must say that these sword-swinging fanatics are quite tough when it comes to a hand to hand fight… next time i send Uncle Fester earlier to deal with ´em… He´ll shoot you in the back!! …
