TAK vs Nomads Corregidor

TAK:
Battelgroup1: Line-Kazak-Core-Link (Four Kazaks ML, FO, Paramedic, Rifle), Veteran-Kazak AP-HMG Lt., Frontovik HRL, 2 Strelok FO, Scout Minelayer, Tankhunter PAC,
Battlegroup2: Tankhunter CoC AP-Rifle, Spetsnaz-Parachutist Boarding Shotgun, 2 Irmandinhos Chainrifle

Corregidor:
Alguacile-Core-Link (five Alguaciles ML, FO, Combirifle), Intruder HMG MSV2, Transductor REM Flashpulse, Jaguar chainrifle, Bandit FO, Moran FO+crazyKoalas, Tomcat Engineer CR+LFT, Gecko 2CR+Panzerfaust, Gecko Mk12+Blitzen,

Table:
All over the table there were nearly even buildings connectet with a couple of bridges. Only two or three were a bit higher, but not really dominant. Some lanes, wich made good firelines, led to the objectives. The left Flank was blocked by a huge container. The Right was free an invited break through the enemy deployment zone.

I lost the Lieutnant-Roll and my Opponent choose side … so i will go first… again… not perfect for this mission were you need to control something at the end of the game, but if i would kill enough it might be work. 😉

So, the Nomads entrenched themselves on a building on the right and placed the ML in ARO. The FO was close to the edge of the deployment zone. (Because he was the Liaison-Officer – luckily I just have to write this term … i really have no idea how to pronouce it)
Moran on left, covering the antenna with Koalaz, on the left as well a Camo-Marker prone on a lower Building, Behind the building the Jaguar. farer behind the FP-REM in full cover. on the very right close to the antenna lounged around the bandit in Camo-State.

TAK refused the left flank an stengthen the middle with the core-Link which now the Vet-Kazak and the Frontovik were included. The Tankhunter PAC placed on a rooftop with a good overview over the scenery. The scout was placed with an e-MAuler to protect the left flank of the core-Link … The Tankhunter CoC covered the back … On the right flank were placed the irmandinhos and the streloks..

My Opponent spent a Command Token to nullify two of my Orders of my Battlegroup1.

1st Turn TAK
Impetuous Phase… First Irmandinho should run forward and place a smoke granate in order to block the sight of the Aluacile ML. unfortuanately i made a wrong guess and the ML had the chance to blew him away, but we rolled the same result an nothing happened.
In order not to waste the other irmandinho i canceled his Impetous-Order by spending a regular one.. i hate it when a plan don´t come together 🙁
OK then.. First Group, First Order … My Missile-Launcher vs his.. Let´s slug it out like men. Both had the same Benefits an Penalties. And Critical Hit blew the Alguacile right away.
Now the way was free for the first irmandinho to get in contact with the right antenna an push some Button. on the right flank a Strelok lurking behind a corner and in his next order he tried to discover the Camo-Marker next the antenna. Both fired, and the strelok won this shootout. Now, short on Orders the Strelok pushed forward into the enemy lines and got back into camo-state.

1st Turn Nomads
Intruder got up … Tankhunter had line of sight but delayed his ARO .. one Irmandinho showed is back to the intruder.. Tankhunter refused to fire.. too much penalties for a good shot … and the intruder fired all his rounds at the irmandinho … i hoped that the additional +4 Armor from the booty-roll would save him, but he died. The intruder tried to discover the tankhunter … no surprise-shot anymore … in this position no benefit from cover for the intruder… now we talking … hit em hard … and my dice showed an eleven, enough to beat his and the intruder´s blood sprayed all over the scenery hit by AP+EXP …
After this my Opponent confessed that he should had thrown some smoke grenade to cover the intruder, but he just forgot … and this was really game-breaking as we will see soon. Moran took the left antenna by passing his WIP and fulfilled his classified. (some other WIP-roll – not sure wich it was) Last Order for this group and the Moran was put into suppressive fire…
And now there happened some oddities .. Corregidor declared that two Geckos enter the table on the left close to my deployment zone. Because of the Zero G-Rule. But unfortunately theTankhunter PAC had a freeshot and fired. The scout had a freeshot as well and fired, too. Both hit. The shot from the scout was repulsed by the armor, but the Autocannon shell bit through the thickest plates and one gecko suffered two wounds. In a Coordinated Order both Geckos aimed with Panzerfaust and Blitzen at the Tankhunter. This time he attacked the other Gecko and the scout took his freeshot again to the first one. The Tankhunter critted against the Panzerfaust-Gecko. The Blitzen-Gecko Succeeded his freeshot to the tankhunter. And the scout succeeded as well. At the end both Geckos were down and the Tankhunter was isolated… wtf just happened? … crazy shit …

Counter at the end of 1st turn
TAK 1 : Corregidor 2

2nd Turn TAK
Impetuous phase.. Irmandinho stormed to the enemy lines and stopped at some stairs … a stairway to bloodshed it seems …
Core-Link was regrouped and the FO-Liaison-guy was put in while the ML was dismissed.
A couple of Movement to get the Link close to the Middle in a goog Position. One crazyKoala was shot by the AP-HMG. As there were no more targets to reach for the Vet-Kazak, the Link-Team hiding into cover. Vet-Kazak and Frontovik HRL were put into ARO.
Strelok on the right made a WIP and fulfilled the Mapping classified. One order left and the scout was put back into camo-state …

2nd Turn Corregidor
Alguacil-Link activated and fired 4Combirifle-Rounds to the Vet-Kazak… Vet-Kazak won and the Alguacil died…
A Tomcat Engineer enters the table were the unlucky Geckos tried their best and repaired one. Gecko lurked behind the cover and opened fire to the ML-Linekazak … The Kazak could not react but the though the communication was broken and he was isolated, the Tankhunter still had his ARO and fired at the gecko .. The ML- Kazak was saved by his armor but the Gecko died, struck by another AP-EXP-shell…
Now the Jaguar entered the scenery moved towards the ML-Kazak and threw smoke.. Moved closer and pulled the trigger of his chainrifle … The line-Kazak tried a shot with his pistol but misses. And so he died in a burst of melting shrapnel …

Counter at the end of the 2nd Turn

TAK 2 : Corregidor

3rd Turn TAK
Impetuous phase … Irmandiha stormed up the stairs… with her irregular Order she moved and tried to throw a granade which she had from her booty-roll to the alguacile-FO..
The alguacile stunned her and so the game was for this irmandinho over…
The Link-Team moved into the middle and occupied the Tech-Coffin… Still enough orders left to move and shoot at the Jaguar with the vet-kazak … Two orders and the jaguar was down… I spotted a line of sight to the Tomcat engineer … The AP-HMG made quick work with him and he was removed… Another Order and the Strelok was in contact with the right antenna… now there is nothing more to do as waiting for his last options..
The Parachutist-Spetsnaz was not needed to come so his shuttle could pull back and fly back to base…

3rd turn Corregidor
As the Nomads were now in a retreat-situation there was nothing to do and the game ended here…

Let´s count the points ..
Corregidor has one antenna activated and in Control-state and it´s classified, but missed the Liaison-Roll …
TAK activated one antenna and got one in control, Tech-Coffin is under Control by the data-Tracker.. Classified and passed the Liaison-Roll

Final Counter
TAK 9 : Corregidor 3

Thanks to my opponent for this crazy game … what a pity some Dice-Rolls put him into a bad position … With a little luck things just could turn in another way… Airborne Deployment-Geckos – crazy shit 😉
