It's easy to turn a pit into a mass grave, half of the job is already done !

When the Shasvastii Expeditionary Force arrives, humans are already in place. Most of them are lying down behind cover as some sort of foreshadowing of how they will finish the mission. On the right side , the team sirius is deployed ahead, on top of a building. Behind the same building, two varangian guards are ready to run to their death. The center is heavilly occupied by a TO marker (Lynx), Gamma feurbach and Epsilon HMG. On the left side, Knauf and the journalist are behind cover while the gangbuster and his madtrap are hiding behind a big rock near the center line.

The Shasvastii force is ready to endure the harsh environment of the pit. Most members of the team (2 Speculos, 2 Shroudeds and the Sphinx have multiterrain) won't be affected by the hull breach and will even benefit from the gravity failure.

The future team mascot rushes towards the gangbuster and expertly dodges the triggered mad traps. It then jumps into action and spits a spray of razor edged shards of crystalline fury to the uncautious human.

From a previous encounter, our shasvastii force has a score to settle with Sirius units of O12. So, wasting no time, we have a first speculo killer who makes her move. She effortlessly slits the operative throat and then manages to set up multiple mines in the area to secure the zone.

Aïda moves a bit and plants a viral mine.
Seeing an opportuny to wreak havok in the enemy lines while most of them are ducking behind cover, the Sphynx finally makes its move. Exploiting the 0G environment to cruise through the field, he quickly reach the optimal range for its twin flamethrowers. Unfortunately all his ennemies (Lynx, Gamma & Epsilon) manage to either dodge or sustain damages.

The Sphynx reconsiders its approach and falls back to hit at optimal range of its spitfire. After several daring actions it takes care of the Lynx and a distant varangian guard. He also put a terrorized civilian out of her misery. With a last ditch effort he climbs the central building and lands several shots on the Epsilon.

The shellshock humans try to overcome the legitimate feeling of terror from being confronted to the insidious Shavastii Force. But, obviously, their aim was suffering from the shaking of their hands.

First, Knauf fails to dispose of the exposed Aïda Swanson while the cunning taigha seizes the opportunity to dodge into cover.

Then, in a desperate effort, the mighty gamma engages the Spynx into a shooting exchange threatening the survival of both of them. When the dust settles, both combatant are still standing firm, the Sphinx suffering only from minor damages (1 wound).

Finally, a Jäger land extremely close of the Shasvastii deployment line. Unfortunatelly for him, he probably had his pressurized suit damaged during his approach. So focused on detecting the viral mine set up by Aïda, he fails to keep his oxygen reserve in check and fall unconscious (hostile environment).

Once again, the vicious critter makes the headline. The nasty taigha rushes towards Knauf and not only avoid to be hit by the sharpshooter heavy pistol but he also spit a new spray of deadly bioshrapnell and takes down his opponent. He then moves towards the journalist but finally get shot in the process by a distant gamma. Nonetheless, it was an amazing job done by our spitting pet !

The second Speculo can't resist the temptation of taking care of the Gamma by herself. The assassin moves behind the heavily armored human who has her attention focused on the Sphinx. The monofilament blade finds its way through the tough outer shell and then explores the squishy inside.

Now that the opposing force had been significantly reduced, we can resume our scheduled mission: EXTERMINATE !

The second civilian is riddled with bullets from Aïda's twin SMG. The third one is tougher and does not intend to give up without a fight. He manages to stun a speculo killer who was about to end the journalist's life ! Unable to attack the assassin falls back.

But with or without a fight, it doesn't matter at the end of the day. The scum eventually bites the dust from a Shrouded trooper shooting him in the back. Shasvastii style !

Now in retreat and loss of lieutenant, humans are forced to make risky moves in a desperate attempt to control some parts of the battlefield.

A kappa moves out from hiding and kills off a speculo assassin but is killed in return by the same shrouded trooper who previously murdered the last civilian.

Finally an airborne Delta lands at the periphery of the battlefield but is welcomed by a lucky shot from an ikadron's sidearm.

Humans can't contest our supremacy over the targeted areas and all civilians have met their gruesome fate !
