Dear humans of the Human Edge!
Please read add watch this training film, for in it is clearly shown, that safety is paramount in the caves. No amount of self- assurance and neat, hip bodmods will save you from the cave-in.
And these are Nomads- they are confident of themselves, hey have brought all the friends, pets even. Look- here comes Chimera! And Sin- eaters, confident and proud in their pain. Look, a Moira- what a big, noisy gun she has. And Morlocks, with all the trendy mods.
What did the Nomads do? They brought pets, friends, anarchy and noise. What they didn’t do? No hats, no safety training, no discipline.
Now, look at our Aleph friends.
Leading them is Achilles- trained, sneaky, having passed his Multiterrain exam before going into caves. Two Nagas and Dasyu, always careful, always watching their step. Posthuman trio- with their certified NWI(c) brand hats. These are beings that care for their safety in mines!
Be like Aleph- wary, careful, disciplined. Truly a shining beacon of humanity at its finest!
Wary of safety breaches in the mines, Aleph safety inspectors went into the passages to check on the Nomad illegal party and save their cubes in the event of cave-in.
And what did they found?
The Nomads took the first turn of their party. Chimera was shooting her smoke launcher, hit the stalactite and died. Morlock has followed her in this stupid act. Moira tried to drunkedly shoot up Dasyu, got a bullet from Proxy. Moderator followed up, wounded her, yet second shot went up and a boulder has finished him. First Prowler exchanged shots with Dasyu and Proxy2, finished Proxy, died from Dasyu. Prowler has shot a Shukra and baited Liberto into a mine, this was the only solid Nomad success. By the end of the first drinking round, Nomads had a coala bot, two sin-eaters and a prone Prowler. Everything else was dead or chaff.
Now, the Aleph went on to save the cubes of Nomads. Dasyu has killed Sin-eater on its flank, Achilles annihilated sin-eater, bot, some moders and, with the last glorious charge, has cleaved in two the console. Meanwhile, Proxy heals the Shukra and Nomads are in retreat and resign.
Remember, good folks- always wear a hat!
