It came to our attention, that the Japanese squat was found in your sector of Passageways. It is to be inspected, its inhabitants- checked. We won’t have any spies on our turf, yet you are to keep the casualties to a bare minimum.
This is UNMASKING, not search and destroy, after all.

Task force Inspection-9 was pretty typical- a lot of infiltrators, some mercenaries and, as always, the glory hog himself, Achilles. Japanese forces consisted of a big blob of Keisotsus with MSV2 Kempei and a missile. Of cource, there was a nigh-immovable block of Karakuri supported by an Engineer.

First turn went to Achilles. He went full speed ahead to contest Keisotsus and two of the three HVTs, got two HVTs (one of them the real one) , downed a Kempei, annihilated Ryuken, Bill, Kempei missile and went into hiding with a sole wound left.

Japanese retaliated with healing the Kempei, and slow advance with Karakuri- they’ve managed to down MSR Dasyu and Proxy2, yet ran out of orders doing so.

Second turn, Aleph consolidated, downed Kempei again with Achilles, placed some mines, pushed some buttons.

Japanese were continuing their slow push, healing Karakuris and pushing across minefield. They’ve managed to open one HVT and it turned to be fake.

Third turn, Aleph continued to mine the way for Karakuris, having lost the main ARO pieces in MSRs. Achilles was trying to shoot up some Kempeis with moderate success.

Japanese finally broke through Naga, Proxy5 and Liberto, but it was too late. They’ve killed a fake yet were unable to proceed further.

Aleph suffered large casualties, Japanese- minor ones, yet conservative Japanese approach cost them VPs.
