To the Commander of Nomad Forces on Asteroid Blues,

First off, I would like to apologize for any harm or misunderstanding we have caused. Though you should know that we lost good people during this incident as well.

The messenger relaying this to you, Lupe Balboa, will attest to the truth of this report.

While moving tinto the YuJing held site in an attempt to secure the command center we came under fire from an unknown enemy. We only later discovered it to be your Jurisdictional Command forces from Corregedor. Your commandos mistook my Uyghur Zhuyong team and their remote for YuJing forces apparently. This happened before my advance scouts were able to get into position.

One of our members, a dog warrior, immediately covered the team with smoke. This inadvertently made it harder for the ID software on the remote to identify friendly forces, though sadly did nothing to hamper it’s targeting and fire control subroutines. It eliminated the heavy weapons specialist on the roof that had taken a pot shot.

Our auxiliary forces of Libertos then rushed forward and put down Ms. Balboa while revealing a bandit but died to it’s return fire.

The Zhuyongs and remote pushed up and cleared any obstacles and hostiles, only stopping after it recognized the smoking remains of a Tsyklon and a dog warrior that looked remarkably like our own. One member of the team recognized Ms. Balboa and performed an Extremis Recovery to keep her from bleeding out.

Understandably your forces reacted and closed in around the team, eliminating the remote, a bounty hunter by the name of Ashcroft and one of the Zhuyong. Relief forces also arrived in the form of a Hellcat and Tomcat, though they were quickly dispatched, one by my scout Mr. Togan and another by our dog warrior.

A few more parting shots saw the retreat of your forces, though not in time for the doctor to save any members of our team.

I do hope you understand that this was sadly a case of misunderstanding. I propose that we have more open communications between our high commands in the future.

Sincerely,

Cmdr. Kysar “Norsecompass” Tumur
