Lt: Hick! Didn’t know you’d be joining us.

Hick: Haha [THUMP] Annnnd I’ll be at the mess hall.

Lt: Doze, move up and secure that tech coffin.

Nicolai: [Secured channel to Lt. Koblie] You zeem to have vested me comrade. It appears my men were not up to ze task.

Lt: [Secured comm] Comrade. The situation here is desperate. Our only victory may only be depriving our enemies of their victory.

Nicolai: I understand.

Cardenas: Lt: Looks like they’re rushing the objective! [Long series of thumps] I think that’s all of them.

Doze: DAMMIT LT! I’m putting my dry cleaning on your tab. All commas open. Scenario done.

Mick: Hey Lt. you see me smoke that red bastard?!

BATTLE REPORT

I’m not a huge fan of Blue v Blue during the campaign but that’s life. Had a new player at the club, me, and the club host. Was a good opportunity for my opponent to play 300pts with some coaching. Camo spam is not my favorite thing to face, as this list has no sensor or MSV of any level.

I chose to hold my Desperado in reserve and I had first turn. I ran him straigh up the middle of the field and pulled some units out of camo. I also chain rifles his link team and took out the Frontovik and a line Kazak paramedic. My opponents 112 was too far away to help. Stripping those bonuses was great.

Turn one for me didn’t see much else exciting. Got my D-Charge classifies and pushed both buttons. Tried to set up in good ARO positions and got into suppression.

My opponents turn, he revealed a midfield HMG tank hunter that spent three orders shooting it out with my Marauder Molotok, eventually putting me dogged. His Ojotnic pushed up my left and he and the Haris Marauder killed each other. Fire for the win!

He also shot my left flank Foxtrot off the board, but spent several orders to do so. I also killed the 112 in ARO.

Top of my two, I brought in Van Zant and killed the Midfield HMG tankhunter, a scout, and a Line Kazak.

Opponents bottom of two killed Zant and my dozed on the tech coffin. He made a suicide run on the right side antenna and got killed, but did push the button.

He wanted to throw in the towel but with coaching from me and the club organizer he was able to strip me from 10-0 down to 4-1.

Time ran short and I didn’t want to kick the new guy too bad so we called it after two. I would have had top of three before he went into retreat and probably could have gotten back up to 8-0, but I was happy with the result.

Everyone had fun and I think he learned some new stuff. I needed more practice against camo spam as well. Good times.
