Battle with Steel Phalanx!

Abstract: Great luck on Nomads, but I think my friend let me win. Since I rarely play Infinity(almost once in a month? two months?), I think he let me win to make me happy 🙂 great friend ever.

I cannot remember the opponent’s army exactly, but mainly it was composed of a thorakitai fireteam with Thrasymedes, a myrmidon fireteam with myrmidon officer(CoC), an agema with Mk12, and the Achilles v1.

My army was an ARO-turret army. A 3-men core fireteam of FB tsyklon and 2 FO alguacile, a wildcat haris team with a HRL, a fireteam reserve member daktaris, a TR bot, and PF Jaguars for the turret. A KHD bandit for skirmisher, and a SWC-free-Lt intruder.

My classified object was exp. drug, which can be easily achieved with the aro-based army.

He got the first turn and I chose the table side and deployed later. He set the thorakitai team on the center, and myrmidon team, agema and Achilles on the right wing. My DZ has a little cover on the right wing, so most of my team were on the left wing, and the bandit, moran and two transductor zonds were on the right wing.

1st round. He rushed the myr. team and loot an armor from the panoply. My zond fired some flash pulse but did not work at all. The team threw a smoke grenade in front of my defence line, and the agema took my transductor zonds and HRL wildcat. Then the ODD Achilles took the TR bot, and retreated behind a cover, disturbing the daktaris to treat the HRL wildcat. He knew I brought intruder lt, not HMG, so he was not scared of the camo marker.

My turn, I brought tsyklon and the doom came. Myrmidon, agema, achilles… All gone. An order spent, one dead. Daktari treats HRL wildcat and my class. obj. was achieved. Bandit kills the CoC myrmidon officer, left no lieutenant on the table. I almost feel sorry about the disaster.

2nd round. He got loss of lieutenant(and loss of will). He attempted a banzai attack with his remaining pieces, to get a retreat! state and finish the game with 1:1 tie. However, his remaining army points were 76 pts, giving him frustration again. At this moment I apologized him.

My turn, the bandit auto-succeed the looting, thanks to her scavenger skill. The wildcat haris assaulted his DZ, and wiped out the remaining thorakitai fireteam and dealt two wounds on the AC2 with D-charges.

At the 3rd round, he got the retreat! state and the game was over.

Same number of looting: no pts each other
