Asteroid Blues

Today the forces of the State Empire were not able to hold back the invaders from the stars, the wretched Nomads. The commander in charge of this operation has been appropriately dealt with. A Mowang was deployed along with a hidden Hac Tao along the left flank of the deck in an attempt to secure the field and allow for our Liaison Officer to have a secure entrance into the center room and be able to connect the antennas along this edge. While he was able to connect the one adjacent to him, the Mowang let him down by failing against a stubborn remote, hacker, and drop troop. The Hac Tao preformed much better, proving his worth on the battlefield by shutting down any advancement on the left side of the deck. Otherwise, our Haidao was able to infiltrate the center room, but did not position himself to be able to eliminate any other threats that would approach. He will learn from this. The Nomad Liaison Officer was able to enter the room, but was subdued by a pair of Mad Traps as soon as she did. It was a close match, but because of secret objectives we believe the Nomads achieved, we are begrudgingly admitting a minor defeat.
