Asteroid Blues

I started the game. My first goal was to neutralize the speculo killer. My best tool for that was the kaauri sentinel. My opponent decided to do nothing hoping me to fail the roll, but luckily I passed. I didn’t realize that there was a camo seeing the kaauri, that turned to be a caliban with rocket launcher, but he missed the shot. So I decided to first kill it with the nikoul. The caliban went unconscious, so the kaauri tried to discover the the speculo’s second level, but my rival decided to shoot, so I did the same. I won the faced roll and the speculo killer was dead (and I avoided her to recover thanks to the shock ammo of the SMG). Then I decid to sacrifice the kaauri to explode the mine so the rasail’s path was free. On the other side of the table, I activated the clipsos, who ran directly to a console, activated it and discover a decoy. The diplomatic delegate did the dirt job and killed the first decoy. The sukeul’s triad advanced to the center console, activated it and discovered another decoy, which was already in LoS with the sukeul. The sukeul killed the decoy while she advanced to the last console and the sakiel and makaul took positions inside the central room. To end, I moved the rasail with the lieutenant order.

My rival started playing with the gwailos. First thing he did was to attack the nikoul and when this one was unconscious, he attacked the sakiel. I can’t remember if the first scratch to the gwailos was made by the nikoul or by the sakiel. But when the sakiel managed to hit the gwailos with the rocket launcher and he lost the albedo and nanoscreen, the gwailos almost chickened out. But finally he didn’t and kept attacking the sakiel, who finally died son the gwailos when to attack the makaul. The gwailos managed to kill the makaul, but the makaul killed the gwailos too with the flamethrower.

I moved the sukeul to the last console and spent two orders to activate it if I’m not wrong. Then, the designated objective was revealed and the rasail advanced to kill it. Then I kept advancing with the rasail, a mine exploded affecting him but I passed the ARM roll. That mine was from a shrouded that tried to kill the rasail, but died attempting it. On the other side of the table, the diplomatic delegate advanced just to where the Sheskiin’s core was, and with her nanopulser, she knocked down Victor Messer and the FO nox. Sheskiin passed the ARM roll and the obliterated the diplomatic delegate in return.

Sheskiin attacked the rasail, destroying his symbiont armor, so the rasail sook cover and hid from Sheskiin. She kept moving and tried to kill the gao-rael and LM sukeul, but they knocked her down. A nox medic tried to heal her, but the explosion of the sukeul’s missile launcher killer the medic and Sheskiin. Wild Bill’s shadowshooter tried to kill the rasail, but with a crit, the rasail killed Will Bill.

With the clipsos I killed the remaining nox and with the rasail I advanced to one of the remaining camo markers that I was guessing they were a mentor and his decoy. Luckily I reached the true one first, who shot the rasail with the shotgun, but he missed with a 20 and the rasail hit twice the mentor with the viral combi. He failed one of the BTS roll, so it died. With no more miniatures of my opponent in play, my job was done. Just to have more victory points I healed the nikoul with the kumotail and the game ended.
